I quit mx riding for about 6 years and was just weight training with a little cardio mixed in, there's new tracks popping up all around me and so I drag my 10 year old dinosaur to the local tracks, killer cardio & burns fat like crazy.
These new tracks are not as supercrossy as they used to be and so any beginner or novice like me can still have fun.
Just wondering if there are any other moto heads here.

Yeah man... well just started ridding this year. Well dirt bikes at least uses to be into tt across the states man good to see someone else on here!!!! Grab a newer bike bro get them cheap now.

Hella cardio, Takes a day or two to recover, Skill lever dosent matter, you are gonna feel like you got ran over by a truck at the end of the day.

I assume youre from socal? I dont ride at all anymore, too many accidents. Last time I was at Glamis I collapsed my lung from eating shit.

Yes I'm down in SoCal, I got Glen Helen, Comp edge, LACR (just reopened last week) AV motoplex, Hungry Valley and Piru all within a hour.
I also have my xray doc on my contacts, they don't work weekends unless they get called in, we chat often.

Agree man, great cardio and a load of fun. I got back on a bike a few years ago, after many years off. Was riding regularly with a few guys who were quicker than me and the ego got the better of me too many times trying to keep up. It was a lesson that you don't bounce up like when you're a young guy

going to get into it soon myself. My son is 5 years old and has always wanted a dirtbike. I got him one of those Razor electric ones a couple years ago, it'll go like 14 mph. He already has the concept of dropping his leg into turns and all that, so I think I'm going to get him a 50cc, but then I have to get one too so I can ride with him!! I don't need anything big, the powerband on those things is crazy, I rode an older Yamaha 125 and it was enough to make me respect the acceleration of those things!!! I think I want a 4 stroke though

Kids are a great reason to get out and ride. My 400 four stroke was more than enough for me to handle. A few rides on a bros 300 two stroke scared the shit out of me lol

My kid is in the service now but from age 6 to 18 almost every weekend we were out at a track, the skill, level of fitness, and drive to win will help them excel in any other sport and life in general.

I love to ride track or trail. My YZ 250f is a beauty. I don't get out as much with work and school and staying consistent with the gym. And forget working out for awhile each time you mess up on those whoops:eek:

I just picked up a 15 yz250f Sunday rode it for the first time Tuesday, coming off a 450 it's blast!!!

God damn! How do you keep the front wheel on the ground lol

Its a handfull. I've drag raced big Suzuki 1450cc dragbikes and this thing is scarier , because its so damn light and the big 2-strokes powerband is almost instant . If you ever get the chance to ride one ....turn it down , lol . Lifes too precious ~Ogh
