Compound Moves an AAS

Very true!! Kind of sucks for me because my family is little people lol! My dad was 5'6" an 125-130lbs mom is 5' even! Im 5'4" short lol an ive worked my ass off an made it to 155-160 an it hasn't been easy! I love lifting a will continue to do so just as long as my body allows me to!! I believe iam at my genetic limits because I have not been able to break this barrier. Looking forward to breaking my limits an moving onto the next level!
 
My whole family is skinny..
My friend was 225 solid at 6'1" off cycle for long time,
and he came from a stick figure.. he barely trained only
to get in there and pump to keep muscles active..

You will never tell how far your genetics will take you..

I used to think I could by looking at people
saying Your Frame Is Too Small You Will Never Be Big but I was wrong..
I never actually said that but I thought it was true and I
would hear people tell other people that.. I still do..

This is why I say to never go by theories or hear/say
or any of that bullshit..
You start lifting now, expect it to take many many years
of trial and error before you figure stuff out..

It took me about 30yrs to figure out
how to get abs without a good diet, and if someone told me
this information 30yrs ago it would still take me 30yrs to figure it out..
Unless you try it yourself and get that hands on, you
will always wonder and second guess yourself..

You can study Math all day every day and learn it
fast, but you just can't do that with bodybuilding.. It takes
many years of hands on.. sometimes many of the same workouts
and diets multiple times because of variables at each time..

I love when I fail at things, because I know I am learning.
If I never fail, I never learn anything new.
 
Look on the bright side. You'll never hit your head on a over head object. Low center of gravity makes you like a stump. Strong and stout. Unfortunately you may miss the good deals at Wal-Mart cuz you just can't get to the top shelf.

There are positives whether you realize it or not. Most body builders arent big guys 5'10 or under

My one friend is about 5'4" and gets hot
girlfriends all his life..

I am happy being 5'9" and I would be happy being 5'4"..
Once you get your mind to accept the fact that your
confidence comes from within and not from how you look..
how tall you are, you will be unstoppable .. maybe not on the basketball court
but never would many people under 6' or even taller
 
Thanks so much bros for the confidence boost. i used to have a big peoblem with my height. imfine with it now an who knows maybe it will work to my advantage when i start putting on extra bodymass. my girlfriend says she dont know why i want to get bigger an that im alredy big for my size im just short. its become an obsession of mine to see how far i can push it. dont get me wrong i want to do it the safest way possible. im not the type of person that abusses anything. i have a family an want to be around for them for many years so i would never do nothing to crazy that would jepordize my health!! i would be happy to get up to 180 but 200 has always been my goal weight!!! thank you all for understanding where i come from an not judging me for my short stature lol!!!!
 
My friend is your height and about 190
I always tell him to get on my workout and cut to 165..
He loves my workout, but he has very little confidence so
wants to be over 200lbs.. It's crazy to me..

If you're going to compete then fine but
you don't seem like you are going to..

Go for the MMA body.. Athletic.. shredded but
with little more to chest and maybe legs..

My girl's daughter is 4'10" and fucking hot..
My sister is 5'4" and pretty damn hot..
My sister's friend... one who gave me handjob.. is 5'3" and very hot..

I think it always looks good when the
girlfriend and boyfriend are very close to same height
and many many hot girls here in Jersey are under 5'5"..

5'4" skinny looks weak..
5'4" 165 with ripped forearms and calves looks real fuckin good..

Many wrestlers are short and they look good.
You will always look solid and ready to slam someone..

I would rather fight a taller person, because I love bodyshots and uppercuts
and short people I always feel will be fast to takes my legs out..

My friend who got all the hot girlfriends
always had nice looking visible abs and girls would
go crazy over them.. He was not big in any way anywhere else
but he did had muscles like a natural wrestler..

Fucked himself up with Dope now..
After my other friend hung himself, it fucked him up even more..
 
damn bro im sorry to hear that about your friends. i to have had friends that comitted suicide an its not any easy thing to go through an deal with. were probly more alike than you think. ive told all of my old friends to stay the fuck away from me an my family because i dont want their alcaholic duggy headed assess in my life. thats why i have very few people that i call friends nowa days. just me my family an the weightroom lol. im happier with it that way. besides who needs friends when you have brothers within MESO!!!!

They can't keep him on 30mg Methadone and not
lower the dose for the whole 3 months like they said they would do..
It's fuckin stupid and all about government money..

My sisters think I should be a counselor for drugs and alcohol
rehabs, but I can't deal with all those junkies :-)

I was a junkie, I will always be an alcoholic who doesn't drink
but I am so strong inside.. Not much bothers me and even when
it does, I look within myself for guidance ...
I can't figure out who I am or why I am here,
but I know how strong I am inside.. we all are but
a lot of us don't realise this..

Squats and deadlifts are a must for me every week! If I don't do either (which rarely happens), I do not feel like I trained. Strength, mass and overall body endurance comes from those exercises. I think the barbell bench press is a little overrated, imho.

Remember to cycle the big three...everything else has been laid out and said for you.one last thing is it has been found that movements in which your body is in motion eg.. squats,pullups..dips,deadlifts stimulate more muscles-peace.

Dips and pullups are a good mention. They are always part of my training. Nothing like your own body weight shaping itself.

When your body moves through SPACE such
as Weighted Pushups, Weighted Pullups, Squats, Dips, Deadlifts, etc
your nervous system is stimulated more from the danger your body feels.
Training the NERVOUS SYSTEM builds strength and overall size..

When you want the real size .. Bodybuilding Size.. pulling out
your weak muscles.. getting Arnolds bicep peak..
that's when you train the MUSCLE..

Training the MUSCLE and not the NERVOUS SYSTEM
also allows a pretty lazy diet while still cutting ..
for me it does, and I didn't have very visible abs until I was 42yrs old..
That's 29yrs of reading bodybuilding books, websites.. when internet came out..
switching up workouts, listening to useless trainers, friends, retards in the gym..

The biggest I ever got was when I went heavy.
About an hour of training.. maybe little more..
Heavy squats, deads, barbell bench, heavy curls, etc
10-8-6-4-2 reps 5 sets of each, but I was fat.. possibly 20% BF
I could still run and PT with the rest of the Marines and I looked
muscle better in my green T-Shirt than everyone else but I was FAT..

That was overall size, but my legs could have gotten alot
bigger from Leg Curls, chest from pre exhaust pecdeck...
I didn't know all that then..

PERSISTENCE should be your number one priority.
Don't second guess your workouts..
Get in the gym and workouts, even if you feel it's not the right workout..
just getting in there and working out will give you results..

My friend doesn't have a clue to why muscles grow,
he doesn't know about diet, he is fucking retarded all around
but years of working heavy and eating got him a nice size..

Lift heavy and eat.
It's the easiest way to grow..

Get to all the other good stuff later

Good points. One thing I would add to that, is too be instinctive when you train. Each time you walk into the gym and while training you should be listening to your body. i.e. If you body is not up for a heavy day of weights and sets, go lighter on both. I really believe when you get "in tune" with yourself, gains come much easier.
