Are bloods need before every cycle?

I ran my first cycle over the summer, did pre, mid and post bloods. My post bloods were 2 weeks after PCT was complete. My question is do I need to get pre-cycle bloods done before my winter cycle?
I thought pre bloods were to baseline your TT levels but after doing post bloods I have a pretty good idea of what my natty TT levels are.

I agree with greendog1, look at it as part of the cost and it is useful for more than just the test levels, it let's you keep an eye on liver, cholesterol and CBC , to make sure your body is fully ready to start up again

Cholesterol that's a good call, I didn't think about that. Do you guys know what test at private lab md will do the cheapest testing for that too?

Female hormone panel, should give u just about everything u need, CBC, liver, cholesterol, test and e2

The Female Hormone Panel does not include cholesterol. You would have to add a lipid panel for about $50.90 extra. To me, it;s worth the extra few bucks.

If you did your post cycle bloods 2 weeks after finishing PCT you really don't have an accurate indicator of whether or not you've recovered. It should be at least 6 weeks after finishing PCT or longer.

I only get bloods at the end of my cycles now, to see if I have recovered. Sometimes, if I plan on running a shit ton of orals, I will get them done (lipid profile) during "mini" breaks of my extended oral runs. Like weeks 1-20 test, 4 weeks on dbol, 2 weeks off (mini break), 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 4 weeks on.

DISCLAIMER:
That was just an example to illustrate my point, please don't ask if that's the actual cycle...

Where are you getting this information? Me and my coach have had me tested right after I finish pct, so I can start another cycle. He has done this for thousands of people, and never once indicated that longer would reveal any changes once you have "recovered" to normal baseline.

The only thing that has stopped us, is if my test has shown that I haven't yet recovered.

blood work is something new. all of us old guys are still kicking without blood work. you can get blood work for your own piece of mind if you want. blood work is not needed, cause AAS are not the demon substances they are being portrayed as. that is my opinion.

who has had blood work and found AAS caused something? I'm guessing no one.

From personal experience for one. Just because you finished pct doesn't mean you have automatically recovered to normal. I do believe Scally would back this up as well.

I'm getting this information from the pharmacology of the compounds used for PCT plus the experience of myself and numerous others. 2 weeks after PCT you are still hyper excreting LH from the SERM treatment. Not only that but your HPTA has yet to stabilize.

Well guess what, you have no idea I'd you e really recovered 2wks after PCT. It takes several more weeks just to clear the SERM's and have your HPTA stabilize.

The half-life of a SERM like Nolvadex is 5-7 days, so in two weeks time it is entirely possible that only 2 half-lives would've passed. I remember Scally actually has brought this up before on here and the issues with getting bloods to early and SERMs having an effect on the results

I, for one. If I didn't do regular blood work, I wouldn't have known that test and other compounds devastate your lipids, so instead of those 14 week cycles, I go with shorter cycles, to allow my lipid values to normalize. If your taking orals also, do you want to wait until your shit looks like tar to check on your liver. Just a few examples. Huck, I'm a few years older than you (probably 20 yrs), but you being in this game as long as you have, don't you want do all you can to stay in this game for 20 more? Wouldn't want anything slow you down or put you down, old timer! It's called Common Sense!;)

well for one I was smart enough not to do hardly any orals in all my years. :) the lipid myth I do not believe in. neither HDL or LDL is a bad cholesterol, both are good for you.

when did you start doing blood work?

Since the early 80's. One of my blood tests was out of whack. It was pulled when I was in my 11 week of a cycle. Got off cycle, had blood work redone and realized there is a value here. The more I know, the longer I can go! IMO and in the medical field, too little of HDL and too much of LDL is not a good thing. Bad things are most likely to happen. Get checked out, my friend.
