Anyone have any experience with these shoes? I'm in the market for some new training shoes and Sadik Hadzovic always promotes these. They look awesome, just wanted to know how they perform.

I have some reebok crossfit trainers, but they're really clunky and look awkward, so I want to buy some better shoes

I'm not a fan of the crossfit shoes. I have the Adidas powerlift 2.0 but when I have the money will switch to either Adidas Adipowers or Ristos.

I have a pair of raptors and I love them. I only wear them with squats and deads. has a nice thin flat sole, good ankle support, decent breathability. They are not super wide but not super narrow either. I know alot of people like chucks/converse for squats or deads but they are too narrow for my feet and feel uncomfortable as shit. These feel great on my feet. It isn't going to give you all the gains but there is definitely value in them IMO.

I wear Chuck Taylor converse all stars. I know that they're a cheap alternative but they fulfil my needs in the gym. Was actually recommended them from an Olympic Lifting coach with a very good reputation.

Chucks are an excellent lifting shoe. Their shoes are a but narrow for my fat feet and I prefer squatting with a heeled shoe otherwise I'd probably stick to chucks

I have always lifted in "skater" shoes. They are all flat soled just like all stars because skateboarding in shoes that aren't flat would be even more challenging and just plain dumb. The upside is also that they have a lot more support (if you wear high tops, which I do), and its something different from the sea of people at gyms rocking Chuck Taylors. Best brand and NY personal favorite is Supra. They have a lot of high top options , the soles are completely flat, they are canvas so they breathe well, and they usually look great.

Welp... Just bit the bullet and ordered some of those black and orange Ryderwears. I'll update this thread after I train legs when I get them.

Nice, Im interested to see how you like em. They look great and if they provide more stability I might look into picking up a shoe like that.

I'm excited to wear them in street clothes when I'm not training in them.

Nike MetCons are the new hotness!

I'm surprised how good they are for competitive excercising. Reebok better watch out cuz these shoes are actually selling more than Lebron James' Nike shoes.

Best way to describe them is they are flat like chucks, lighter than reebok nanos, and comfortable enough to run a mile in. The ultimate cross trainer.

Haha hell ya man they are Badass, plus unlike basically every other kind of sneaker, you will stand out. I used to wear wrestling shoes cuz I like high tops and wanted something a little different, but the soles are so thin that they werent comfortable if I had to do much walking . Gym shoes are like the best of both worlds.
