Hi guys,

New member here, but been reading this board for a few months. Basically I had to join the board to support the harm reduction project. I don't think I can contribute a great deal to the board itself, but I'll definitely be donating to the harm reduction/lab testing campaign.

I'm from the UK, been on TRT for almost exactly one year, but been weight training about 14-15 years. No previous steroid use before TRT by the way (secondary hypo). I'm currently 32 years old.

In the UK, we are so far behind the Americans when it comes to TRT, so I'll probably be spending a lot of my time in the men's health section looking for the answers I need. I have a lot of blood work over the past year that seems to contradict a lot of what I read on here, so maybe I can contribute and help out in that way.

Cheers for reading, and I'll gladly help out where I can.

Welcome to MESO. Can we get a little more info from you? How about some stats since you have already covered the rest? Enjoy

Age:32
Height: tiny bit above 6ft
weight: Stable at 13.7 stone (192 lbs)at the moment. Heaviest I got was 14.2st (199lbs) about 2 years ago but couldn't maintain it.

I've struggled gaining weight my entire adult life, unfortunately I lose weight really fast if I don't keep on top of everything,so always been on the lean side.

I was hoping TRT was my ticket to getting to where I wanted physique wise, along with other things of course, but I've had a really rough time with it so far. For whatever reason, my testosterone levels won't rise enough, and I'm hoping I can get some new insights from the men's health section.

Take more test! Welcome to meso.

What does you diet look like calorie and macro wise?

To be honest, I have been taking more test between doctors visits, but ideally need my standard protocol sorted so I don't need to be messing with UGL's just to feel normal. It's not looking likely the docs will do that at the moment though. I could post up some of my test scores, or might start another thread at a later date in a better section for it. Just been checking the conversion charts so more of you'll understand my scores....... Do you guys use ng/ml or ng/dl?

Diet wise, always high calories. The last day I tracked was 4,520 cals,146 fats(30%), 483 carbs(44%), 280 protein(26%). Numbers are always similar to this, but lower fat by 50g on alternative days. I should add, calories were actually higher pre-trt, so at least I don't drop weight so easy now.

I would add at least 100 grams protein a day even if it is shakes. Are they strict about upping test? Do you get your own anonymous tests when you up the dose to see what that does?

Yes and no about how strict they are. They seem to stick to manufacturer guidelines when it comes to prescribing injectables, e.g 250mg sustanon 2-3 weeks, test undecanoate 1000mg 10-14 weeks, and was just told friday that if I switch over to enanthate that I would get 250mg every 3-6 weeks!!! But on the other hand, I also get gels on top of my injections.

I'm seeing my endo in just under 3 weeks to see what happens next. My GP told me friday that the endo will be hesitant upping my dose because my RBC count is maxing out the scale. Again, they seem so far behind you guys that they'd prefer someone with low T so it saves having to mess with other meds/blood donations. I'm trying to stay positive and hopefully I'll get where I need to be pretty soon.
