Help the ignorant.

My obliques suck.

Cutting currently. Very serious cut. Determined and focused. Running 1050mg Tren ace a week and trt dose of test. Cals floating around 2600-2900 daily. Burning fat and actually building serious muscle at the same time. Having the time of my life watching my body change so drastically. Currently 261 down from 270. Tests have me at 13 percent bf. One year cycling experience under my belt. Just introduced cardio back in after dieting alone stalled. Trying for 30 minutes 3x a week and looking to double up a few days a week. Mostly cycling cuz I hate the pounding on my knees Running gives me.

Obliques are soft very soft no tone no definition. I have a 32" waist even with the pudge. Very nice bone structure just terrible obliques. Abs are coming along nicely tho

On your cardio, try what I have gone to. Split it up through out your work out. Keep heart rate and sweat up through entire work out. That should help the cut.

What kind of core training are you doing currently?

Diet seems to be on point and only thing I would change up would be doing some sort of HIIT style cardio instead of just one speed cycling.

Are you doing cardio in the mornings, before working out or after working out?

I workout at 0300-0400 due to my long days. Usually after my workout. Cuz mass and maintaining it is so important. I have history with the usmc so I do corps style crunches and about 100 leg raises at a time. That's really it...

I like the idea of hiit style cardio. Basically intense sprints and sports related movements?

I mean I used to be a serious athlete and then I think more importantly abs were a function of just being young. I'm familiar with a variety of sports related exercises. Maybe i should get back to that.

Like suicide sprints, timed hill sprints, pulling a sled or pushing it. Egyptians or wall chairs. All very effective forms of cardio. Jogging or timed marathons are out tho. I never liked that shit even when I was in and I know I won't stick to monotonous jogging

HIIT is any form of cardio which you cannot perform more than 10 minutes at a time, if you can last longer its not High enough. Every form of cardio basically can be HIIT, running, cycling, stairs, skipping rope, jump squats, elliptical. Choose one do it intensely and that's about it really, edit: note the interval stands for a break you take so the entire HIIT cycle would look like 1 min sprinting 1 min jogging repeated 5 times, but only applies to INTERVAL, not basic high intensity training if that makes sense lol

Agree you gotta kick up the cardio to get that stubborn abdominal fat.

I do not usually add any site specific oblique work if all possible. Especially for women or guys that have a short/blocky torso and they are competing. A lot of different lifts will hit your obliques and for most no need to do any weighted side bends, wood chops, etc. In your case maybe add a few in a week.

Google oblique exercises and I bet you can find some that will suite your needs.

I do not believe in directly working obliques because weighted oblique exercises can make the trunk wider and take away from the V. Obliques will come in after the abs, they are part of what helps the abdominals. I did a youtube vid recently on ab training if you search john doe bodybuilding/ ab training.

Im just trying to help, not necessarily market my shit as most of you guys are far beyond beginners anyways. Good luck brother

Just watched the video. So circuit training. Ok I got it

Btw I looked at a couple articles about "how much does a bodybuilder lift" I really enjoyed that one too. True shit. I'll have to revisit the site again

For me deadlifts and squats seem to help with the obliques exercise wise. Most important is diet, low carb is the only way I've found that gets me where I want to be. Anything over say 100g carbs a day and my abs take a beating.

Ive always lagged in abs but have always had good obliques aka the penis muscles. Some good lifts are dumbbell side raises, decline oblique crunch, russian twists, captains chair.

Oh I forgot my daily cardio of 20 minutes with the wife. That's pretty intense and I feel it should count :)

I work hard goddamit
20 mins? My god man, there is your problem. Your on Tren now, why aren't you hitting that shit for an hour or more. If she can walk normal in the morning, you didn't get enough cardio brother.

The question really is how many times can a women cum in 20 minutes? You don't think I been doing some thing right these last 14 years?:D

You think she stays with me cuz I'm handsome ?o_O

Good points brother. Guess the Tren effects people different though. It makes me an all nighter. Generally the ole lady is telling me I have to stop because she can't take anymore. And then she's out of commission for a day or two :(
