I'm sitting here trying to do my first ever filter. Only 5g tren a. It looks perfect but I'm using a .2 whatman and I'm losing my hands.

This is so bad. I'll be here all night lol
My hands are killing.

Any tips to so speed it up, I'm desperate??!!

How many ml do you need to filter?

I just recently started reading about this topic but I came across guys using a smaller cc syringe to filter. The gist is, the larger syringe requires more force. Try using a smaller cc syringe and see if its easier to push.

From what I've been reading, a .45 isn't enough. I'd stick with your .2

I don't know why anyone still uses syringe filters for anything above 50ml. Get a hand vacuum for less than $50 and media bottle for $10. A one time $60 or so investment right there.

Now all you need to investment per brew is for a bottle top filter. You can buy them for as cheap as $8.00 and they screw on to the head of the media bottle. This has saved me so much time. I have filtered over 1000ml and all I have to do is give the hand vacuum a pump every once and while while I am sitting on the couch enjoying some TV show.

You set the syringe in the caulk gun with the filter on the outside of the caulk gun( where the tip of a tube of caulk would go) I use a rubber band to hold the syringe in place...insert the needle from the filter into your vented vial and I usually hang the caulk gun from a handle on my dresser and add a book or two under the vial so ItS supported and then squeeze the trigger of the caulk gun until it starts filtering then let it do its thing...also be sure to have a pretty decent air space between your oil and plunger in syringe...life just got easier @youtubeNATTY

Do NOT use a .45um filter. Stick with .2um.

Use a smaller syringe. The larger the survive the more pressure you have to apply on the end of the plunger to get the same force at the end where it touches the oil.

Ok to the guys who said use a smaller syringe I just want to say thank you, you saved me from the worlds biggest ball ache. I got up this morning saw your messages and tried using a 2.5ml it was so easy. Ok I had to go back and forth alot but I didn't mind at all.

One note I would say is that my tren looks fucking amazing. I did however lose ALOT of gear in the process, I think bcos its my first time that's why my kitchen is covered in tren oil lol. I think I legit lost 15ml through multiple fuck ups.

Brewing is really easy, but I somehow managed to cover my apartment in tren lol. I'm hoping this is a learning curve and next time it will be more smooth etc

Much easier.
Your forearm development will not be as good however
A caulking gun is a good way to overpower the filter membrane and rupture it if your not very gentle.
Finesse and patience in all aspects of brewing is the answer, as you have already learned force is the long way around.

I brewed it 36hrs ago, am I g2g to pin today? Some ppl say to wait a week for the ba to kill everything.

If I'm honest, although I filtered every drop I could have been much more sterile lol.

Just brewed some npp and deca with a caulking gun. Amazing. Saves the hands. Just dont press too hard and blow your filter

How do you keep the pressure down @nophat ? Some type of relief valve i suppose.

The shop vac doesent have a lot of suction
I get it up to 15 on the gauge.
I had the glass filter system and the peice of shout broke.
180$ plus 80$ in filters.
I'm better off ordering 10 filters so I can throw all evidence away.
I'm like a bull in a China shop when it comes glass.
I'm ordering the complete unit of stainless filters with the 4 phase filter
I can't break that
