A Southern Yankee's Winter Blast

Does any one know how to properly measure a tricep and it's length? I think I have what's known as a high tricep or a short muscle belly. But then again my tricep is thickly muscled right thru to my elbow which gives me my bench and dipping power. I'm just looking for the most accurate way to diagnose the situation.
 
Ain't trying to scare him. I look up to him. Hopefully in a year or more I can have some thing like he has. Let's see where this gene pool leads eh? To water or dirt?
Just busting your chops...bet you could get even bigger than mands considering your frame. You should do quite well the way you are going :)

Your collar bones ever get stressed out from tri dips? Happened to me last night with weighted dips. First time, like a good dummy i stopped immediately and tried the tri press machine - same thing. Not while in motion but after im done.

No. I like to go real deep like prison rules dips. And try my best to focus on the load on the TRICEPS. Otherwise I think my over bearing shoulders come in to play too much.

If I had to guess I'm thinking your traps are pulling on your collar bone. Maybe your form is off. Cuz it doesn't make sense.

Like i said its never happened before. I tried adjusting my elbow flair tightening up my back of course a few other things, no luck.
 
I don't think you need weight man. Just slow it way way down ;)

I tried some DD tips for triceps too. Like the 1 minute dip. 30 seconds down pause 30 seconds up. That's the set. Go try it
Cant help it, i got hot chicks hangin' from my junk at all times.

Just fucking around (kinda) the only reason i use weight is because i can crank away on those dip bars until i run out of wind and not real dig into the muscle, ya feel me?
I'm sorta at a loss with arms lately as it is.
 
Weighted dips are an excellent lift. You should try them weighted if you can bust out 10+ reps easily.
Yeah. I can crank out 20 at bodyweight easily but then I'm just huffing and puffing. Doing cardio at the dip bars is not my bag.
I feel like anytime i get out towards 10 reps my growth starts to stall out with the exception of legs, i gotta punish those bitches.

Exactly. I feel the same. I need to get back to dips once my elbow gets better
