Started using one as part of core training. Its been six months now. I'm getting pain in my back a couple inches south of the shoulder blades. Do you think it us muscular or pressure on a disc. I go deep and get a full stretch. Maybe going too far down?

Starting to feel while benching. Share any personal experience.

Sounds like plain old somatic pain from over doing it. You could have easy hurt yourself without knowing it. Take some time off and let it heal. Do some trunk work.

I think I was arching my back. I had been using it for six months with no problems.

I will try it again in s couple weeks. Thanks Oz

Hopefully its something that simple. If it continues the best route is seeing a doc, last thing you want is to keep aggravating it, especially if its a pinched nerve.

I been using the ab wheel for a few years now. It's one of the best weapons in my arsenal. My core has developed very well over the last few years. I do get pain in my lower back at times tho. Also, I get a tension head ache in my neck and head rite where my neck meets my head. I'm usealy done for the day at that point. But, the wheel is very valuable. Sometimes I'll hold reps for longer and do less reps to be easy on my back and neck. "Like a plank" I want to add that the abs are just like any other muscle and respond the best to resistance training "weights"... Weighted crunches pay off big too. Imo... Keep kicking ass brother!!! Big gains!!!
