Cycle 2 for dummies.

So I stopped taking the liquid anavar. I started seeing vascularity, veins in the shoulders started poppin, but then my knees started giving me problems. I went on a hill run and I could barely walk on my right knee for days after. That has not happened to me in years, so I think it was the anavar, plus my shoulders started aching pretty bad too. Not sure why, but I just couldn't risk injury, not worth it imo.
Is that normal for anavar to have these effects?
 
I did however take my test wit me And just kept up with the pins while we were there. Today will be my 5th pin and 3rd week. Pretty excited to get bloods done, just one more week. Hoping for some high numbers.
 
Workouts have been pretty good. Strength hasnt really gone up, but motivation is definitely better. I think I have had that placebo effect a couple times cause I have hit a couple of my
Maxes for higher reps so I'm pretty stoked to just get that kick soon. I'm going to start adding weight at the end of this week, that way I don't put too much weight to fast, figured I would get the reps up before adding the weight.
By next week I'll post pr's with reps.
 
Hey I feel your pain when it comes to bench press numbers not being high. I got spider monkey arms just keep those elbows tucked and those numbers will get up their in no time bud
 
Yesterday was back day. Felt really good, I usually get burned out on deadlifts then I have to drink some Gatorade just to finish my workout, but this time I was going strong the entire workout.
Deadlifts 135/15, 225/12, 315/10, 315/8, 385/6, 385/6.
Lat pulls 160/15, 180/10 200/8, 200/6.
Started feeling it right After the first set haha
Close grip lat pull downs 140/12, 160/8, 180/6, 200/2
Superset those with face pulls 60/12, 80/10, 95/10, 110/8.
Lawn mowers db's 65/10, 85/8, 95/6, 100/6.

Was done after this, no more sung the fat lady. I crawled out of there with the craziest pump man, my arms were huge! Back was definitely hurting, those pumps could kill I swear.
 
I bet you could easily have done a better lift on the deadlift if you didn't waste time and energy doing high rep low weight.

Realistically if your diet is on point you shouldn't need Gatorade...

Just a suggestion, I would start your dl never lower then 225 but work in the rep range ur sticking with as the weight goes up. So if ur planning 400 3x5 warm up with A set of 5 then get right to it. quality of quantity brother
 
Yeah, I could have, I already have done 405 for two last week. But I'm not doing lower reps till next week, I usually change it up every month. I'll be doing 5x5 starting next week, last time I did that I went way up on strength.
Gatorade really is just for energy, cause I don't take pre workout right now, I just supplement l-arginine; so believe me after deads Gatorade is usually a welcomed booster for me. My diet has taken a hit lately because I've been on vacation for the last week and a half and I don't get home till Sunday so two weeks probably wasn't a good thing to do right in the beginning of my cycle.
 
I am now back from vacation.... Two weeks is too long! Holy shit I have no motivation to get back to work, I feel like this next week is going to suck just to get back into the swing of things.
But life must go on, and I'm here to update you all on progress.
The last two weeks was pretty bad on my eating habits, I ate fatty foods and drank a lot of alcahol, not a good idea to do on cycle I know, but it was family and haven't see. Them in years.
But I am now going to modify my goals to more of a gaining cycle, since I have already been gaining.
I am now at 208lbs, my arms are slightly bigger, by a quarter inch. Not much but it's gain, since I measured in the am and have measured the last three days just to make sure it wasn't something else that would go away. (Until after cycle haha)
My strength is up, I have been able to put up more weight on bench and military press. I say those two because their the most noticeable. Everything else is slightly up but not by much more than I would expect when I do what I'm doing.

I will be cutting back my reps to get more weight in on my usual workouts. This week I will start up on my 5x5 program again, this should be fun. I'll post my gains during the program, I don't usually like posting details about small gains until everything is said and done. But for now, I am happy with the test so far. I have noticed my libido is up and I mean I jerk the chain about three times a day and have sex with the wifey every night. Up from when I was hittin it about twice maybe three times a week.
Also I get back acne now, that hasn't happened since I was a kid, big fuckers that I need help poppin. Usually get my boy to do it for me, haha love having little slaves around lmao
 
Oh and I talked to bd about the anavar, said he would replace it; I asked him for the tabs instead of liquid, this way I could lab max it. Hopefully everything goes well with that. Anybody, have really good results from anavar recently?
 
Hey, been a little bit since I last posted, things are going well. I noticed last night my shoulders are popping out just a bit more than they usually do. I can put up 155lbs military press now, that's better than what I was starting out. Yesterday was chest, I did really good. Pumps were really full and noticeable.
Barbell flat bench, 135/15, 185/15, 205/8, 225/6. That was my pr when I started, however, I was unable to get more than one rep and even then it was a weak rep.
Incline barbell bench 135/10, 155/8, 185/5, 185/3.
Cable flyes 20/15, 25/12, 30/10, 35/6, 35/6.
Incline db bench 60/8, 65/8, 70/6, 75/4.
I know I said I would start the 5x5 program this week, but my gym buddy skipped a week while I was gone and didn't want to do it this week.... So next week I'll start the strength gains.
 
Thanks, I made an adjustment to the end goal itself. I'll be going for strength and size.
Bd is sending replacements for the anavar I was on. This time sending pills instead of liquid. I'll be able to labmax the stuff at least.
 
What's up guys, had a great day so far. Ran a 5k with my kid. Came home to a package with my replacements in it.
Ordering a lab max kit and I'll post results as soon as I can.
These pills are pretty cool looking, they are blue with the monster symbol on one side. Is that usually what they look like?

I've gained a good amount of weight already, strength is up in certain areas. But the gym is much better in that the pumps are crazy and motivation is great.
 
Chest day today gents and it was good, the pump I had going was pretty insane. Probably the most my chest have ever popped out that I can remember and there was a little blonde checking me out while I was lifting so obviously i was killing it with crazy motivation haha
I weighed in today at 213lbs so I guess my body hit its weight for now until next week.
Flat bench barbell 135/20, 135/15, 185/12, 225/6, 225/3, last two was assisted.
Incline bench 115/12, 135/10, 155/8, 135/8, 145/6, 135/8, 115/10
Flyes db 35/12, 45/10, 45/8, 45/8.
Machine flyes single hand, 85/10, 130/6, 85/8.
