"A day will come when the dead will rise up from the earth. And all will witness the reversal of decrepit birth". Love it lol. @BBC3 I will admit his high scream is unique to say the least lol.

From being a fan for a while now I think they mainly use that angle for the shock value kinda like slayer. I've watched many a interview with the main singer Peter and he doesn't talk about satanism or any religions and doesn't come off as one of the European nutcase satanists. Just a dude who likes putting out good metal. People ask him in interviews why they never changed their sound for 25 years an he always says people listen to vader cause they want to hear straight up death metal without all the technical guitar crap. When people buy a vader CD they want to hear vader music. Most people can't get into all that over the top guitar work and that he really doesn't focus so much on lyrical content as much as using the vocals as another instrument to add to the mood of the song like he said in one interview "how many words do you actually know from your favorite death metal songs?? Hahaha"Wait a minute. I was just thinking how funny it would be to see them singing christian lyrics with that sound. ANd then I forwarded to part where he said something about "Revelations" between songs.../
So are they satanic, non donomination, or possibly a "Christian Organization"...?
Serious Question...!

I listen to a lot of extreme metal and a lot of it has questionable lyrical content but I am a church going baptist believer in Christ. I like heavy songs with solid fretwork.
Ive listened to them a bit here and there but they are the style of death metal that I just can't really get into. It's just too much fretwork they really don't have a groove to them. By solid fretwork I meant that the riffs and drum tracks despite being extreme and heavy it's still something I can groove to. I like some stuff in that vein of music but it's hard to find a whole song that I can listen to multiple times. It's like they have good parts of some songs but then muddy it up trying to do much as if it's not even the same song anymore after 30 seconds, you know what I mean?If you really like solid fretwork and/or avant garde metal check out

edit2: oh nvm just super easy embedding
I sure do. I think it's hard to appreciate it fully unless you are a musician, that's really the only reason i can listen to it and its only in light doses. Im a musician as well and it's one of the reasons I like the genres I do but it seems as though death metal, all them death core, melodic and so on as a whole is just becoming one band after another taking the next step to far,it's starting to become unlistenable to me anyways.I sure do. Oh yeah but never been a huge fan of Mark Hunters vocals but the band was damn good so it made up for it. Rob Arnold leaving was definitely the nail in the coffin for chimaera and it's probably a good thing they dissolved after one more album.
I never cared much for his vocal work either which is exactly why I link a song by them featuring Phil Bozeman who's one of my favorites lol. The instrumentals are phenomenal though. Idk if you're familiar with the song or not but Phils part starts right at 2 minutes in.Oh yeah but never been a huge fan of Mark Hunters vocals but the band was damn good so it made up for it.
