Anybody got any good lower chest exercises besides the norm of decline bench and dumbells, not to forget dips.....appearance wise my lower chest has always been my weakest link, I can almost hit 405 on bench (almost lol)....just hoping somebody can chime in with some good stuff so I can change up my routine more and get better results..thanks in advance fellas!

Really the only thing I add would be high to low cable flies with an open grip. As far as your decline press make sure you use all the different hand placements (wide close regular) to get them well rounded. This has always been a problem area for me as well. I would focus more on reps for building up a specific area instead of heavy weight

I like that man, I love changing stuff up, seems like it shocks the muscles better....it keeps em guessing

You can also use lighter DBs. Start your press with a parallel grip and finish at the top with them turned in (palms facing your face) and squeeze the shit out of them

Would you guys consider posting pics? Even if its just of the chest? Reason being is that to have 2 guys that I know a bit and follow have this same issue is out of the norm. You guys probably know that the overwhelming majority of guys are the opposite with lagging upper chest.
I'm wondering if by concentrating on bringing up the upper chest if that will take care of your problem. The upper chest has to be targeted whereas if you are doing dips and flat bench the lower chest is there it just needs the support of the underdeveloped upper to carry its weight. Just a thought.

That's interesting, my upper chest and separation have always been good..it's my lower that's suck..which really sucks cause that makes the tight shirts not so fitting, and Everybody wants a massive chest.

I guess mine isn't so much being underdeveloped as much as not being symmetrical

Thanks for the pics guys. You both are looking rugged! Nice work. Looks like you both live in the gym.
Upper chest IMO is what will be the fix.
When I was a kid I remember seeing Arnold hitting that side chest and that shelf just exploded.
Generally lower chest work is easy compared to upper chest. Its much more difficult to isolate or target the upper chest.

I would so humbly like to add heavy db pullovers, a serious chest exercise to the mix. This movement if done correctly can pump up the upper chest and throughout the movement, transfering the load the the lower pecs.

Definitely used last in a program when fatiqued.

As stated by ballz, weighted dips, king of the castle imo for lower chest developement. Arnold killed it with dips, dips and more dips.
