~Ogh"s Old Geezer Tren Run....

Ok - I need to shed belly/love handle fat , I thought the tren might do itself but Ive been eating too loose . Time to tighten things up , setting at 195 and I need to be 175 , thats my best all-around weight for size/strength/cuts , but its not too low .

I do like the strength I have now at 195 , the tren always has some surprises come workout time . My next squat I will try for a 440 1RM , not huge for alot of guys but for a sawed-off geezer like me its all I can think about .

4 yrs ago this month I finally squatted 300lbs ! Once . Last winter I did 300x10x10 which was the hardest thing Ive ever done -----so this will be huge and I know I can do it (w/ a lil trens help)

I will respectfully say that today I was crushed...again by 455. 2 attempts 2 fails thus far. Me poor back just ain't up to it. I've been pausing all the way in the "dump" position. So I can call it legit. We're talking way more than just parallel.

I got 425 once the last time I used the cage in town , and just felt there was a good 15lbs still there , so I will try 440 . Hell Imight be talking about 450 soon , but 440 to be safe . Ive never failed on a squat ; I know what that means , Ive never went too heavy . I want to see what brings me down ....

I bruised my neck up pretty good too trying to roll it oh so gently off. I learned my lesson. No more squatting in the regular rack for personal bests. Wasn't my fault tho. Some weak pussy was using up the only power rack for his grueling half reps of 95 lb. I wanted to fucking kill him. GO TO PLANET FITNESS WITH THAT WEAK SHIT ASSHOLE.

Remember I did that video in my log? 425 easy. Then up to 455. Fail. It just flops my notoriously damaged Lower back. :(

425lbs is nothing to scoff at , I see big collage linebackers all the time that cant get it , then they snear at me (hey man , put in the time...) I was stuck at 375 for a yr or two until I did a test/deca/dbol cycle and my squat shot up after that . I never lost the strength from that cycle .

Your right it is alot of weight.

I got legs for it all day. But I feel like I'm about to be split in two on my lumbar. Good thing I don't tell my doctor. If I did I'd be dead. I have no business squatting weight like that. Oh well

The cage in town is great I will set the drop bars just below parallel to catch me if I fail . I do 400 on my old Powerhouse rack out back by myself so a cage is quite a luxury for me , as well as a dry ceiling ;)

Read "Starting Strength" by ex-PL Mark Rippetoe ( or watch his youtube videos) the man saved my squat , I was ready to toss them 2 years ago and now Ive had zero injuries in 2 yrs and Im lifting weights I never thought I could using his techniques. I was just talking to Doc about this , hes a big Rippetoe fan too .
 
And to anyone who thinks they cant develop their legs,especially after 45 or 50 , I say BULLSHIT , I had short , skinny chicken legs 5 yrs ago w/ a 225 squat . The next yr it is was 300 , the next 350 , 375 then I got 400 last yr . Anyone can build stronger legs . Work hard and have a goal...

Last time i seen him he looked like a freakn tank. Im sure that hasnt changed lol;):cool:
 
Maybe with cortisone shots in both knees I can then squat with no pain as well. Sucks getting old and I hate that feeling!
