Hey everyone, just another new guy passin through sayin Hi. My name's c.j. fair warning, I may ask a lot of stupid questions, I agreatly apologize in advance as I'm very new to this all lol. My training is all based around my passion of MMA I train Muay Thai, BJJ and judo and there is NOTHING else like it in the world :) if anyone has any advice or questions or whatever else feel free! Lookin forward to my time on this forum!

BTW how about some stats , Ht, weight, time lifting and goals?

Height 5' 7"
Been working out for 5 years and 6 months now, initially started with a dream of being big and jacked but getting into fighting quickly changed my goals from size and strength to power and stamina. Needless to say I am a gym junkie, I could spend 5 hours a day l there if my life allotted for it! This may sound childish, but I have dreams of being a UFC fighter one day. But hey, if you don't set your sights high in the world of fighting, don't even bother trying.
I've recently taken a year off well more like a year and a half off of fighting due to deaths in the family and my parents divorce, but I believe it's my time to go back, however I have lost A LOT in the year and a half I've been off, hence how I've wound up here searching for some help to get myself into fighting condition again!
 
From what I've read it seems like there's a lot of people who know what's goin on here, definitely glad I found this place! Hopefully one day I can be as knowledgeable as half the people here!

Sorry to hear about your family tragedies, been through that and parents divorce as well and i know its tough but now its time to get back in the gym and work towards Your goals and dreams. And i dont think it childish at all wanting to fight in the UFC, actually i admire you for that.
Good luck brother and who knows maybe we see you on tv one day!!!!
 
Thanks brother! It was a tough year, that's no joke there, but man I been kickin some ass gettin back into the swing! An I will do my best to try not to be too much of a "new" on here, I apologize in advance efor any stupid/already answered questions etc. Haha, hey man if I make it big to UFC, I'll see to it everyone I know now gets box seats! My gym just produced 2 professionals actually this year, I mean where I train, the odds are good.... LOT of connections through the BJJ instructor

Welcome C.J. I'm a BJJ guy myself, good luck on getting to the UFC. A friend of mine had a few fights there, it's definitely a whole different level.

Haha 5 hours IF I had the time for that!! Unfortunately I'm glued to my work =\ I used to be morbidly obese and weak, then once I got into the routine man, when I saw my first gains come in man.... Forget it! I couldn't get away from there haha I'm sure ya know that feeling!

Very jealous of your friend... Unfortunately I got a LOT of time until I hit it there man, that's awesome though bro! I still consider myself to be very green at it, but these 2 upcoming years I am going to dedicate myself to it, I know its so cliché but I have intentions on bein there one day in the cage man, do you do for sport? Or are you trying to become a professional too? How long ya been rolling for?
