What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Haven't hit the gym in a few days cuz I'm sick, thus, kinda been snacking instead of eating.

But feeling a bit better this morning so took 5oz of ground chicken, whole kernal corn, and 5 egg whites with one whole egg to make a scramble.

Refeed today boys. Fat kept under 40g, 1g/lb protein, and the rest CARBS. So around 25% protein, 10% fat, 65% carbs.

On the menu:

-Japanese Pan Noodles w. grilled chicken
-Nonfat Frozen Yogurt (2 large containers, Red Velvet Cake and Tangerine flavors)
-Fruit Loops (8 cups, so basically the entire box
-Greek Yogurt (1 container)
-Skim Milk (8 cups)
-Mango smoothie (large)
-2 scoops chocolate brownie whey
-2 gal water

Been on a very slight deficit this summer with lower carbs than i've ever tried before. Figured what better day than back day with all these carbs. And of course throw in some bi's because the pump should be unreal- var and winny pwo should help with that too :) Lets gooooooooo!!

I loved kid cereals on refeeds last cut. I hit 600 carbs and under 70 fat on a refeed was pretty damn veiny after that

Yeah dude. This is my first actual calculated refeed, in the past I usually just had a cheat day when cutting. Did you find any significant difference refeeding with lots of sugary carbs vs complex sources?

I'm a strong believer in flexible dieting when counted and done right. The GI has no effect on body composition. I got the same result from sweet potatoes or pop tarts

I as well.. Shit I ate pizza and wings yesterday on a cut lol. They were from Whole foods but still. Just made sure to hit my numbers and I don't over do it. Just wasn't sure specifically with refeeding, Thanks brotha

Dude the leanest I got of litterly ate pop tarts ice cream chocolate rice cakes and any carb I wanted. People really have to understand macros and know how to count to do this right but I love it. I used to be SO against flexible dieting and only are "bro food" but I love flexible dieting now. Just never gave it the right shot.

Its all about the calories . Whether you go with a high protein /high fat diet or a high protein/high carb diet (or a balanced diet) you still have to keep calories under maintance or you wont lose a thing . Plus cardio too to keep metabolism high and the furnace burning ......
 
I barely touched the eggs and ground chicken this morning... throat hurt to eat... so now I'm trying something different for lunch...

I had part of that turkey breast left over from Friday... if got dry in the fridge.

I made the kids Beef flavored Top Ramen for lunch, and used the extra juice to rehydrate the turkey.... salty sure... but pretty damn tasty :)20150809_140716.jpg
 
For the record the boiled egg peeling trick did not work for me. I nearly ruined 18 eggs till my wife came to the rescue and peeled them as best as she could. She told me I was doing it all wrong, said she would do it for me next time. Then again maybe it did work for me, i ruined the laundry one time and have never been asked to do not again.

Start a dozen eggs in cold water 6 inches deep or so depending on pansize . Bring to a rapid boil , boil 10 minutes . Shut off heat let sit 5 minutes .

Drain into collander and let cold water run over eggs . Keep running water as you crack the egg on the side of the sink peel while the cold water runs under the shell . It should all pop out away from the white in 2 pieces or so . Continue to wash off shell from egg . Your done . I use to peel 10 dozen eggs a day . Everyday .

I honestly think it had to do with the age of the eggs, fresher eggs don't seem to peel as well as Say 10 to 15 day old eggs
