I would say the number one way to get scammed is to start a thread like you did, the sad thing about it is the guys that do this usually send someone that hit them up by pm money then come back and bitch about getting scammed. Op never put it out in the open that your looking for gear it will only get you scammed, no legit source will come to a new member offering gear in good faith I promise. Put in some time man and put in some good info to this forum, it's like a family give a little to get a little don't just expect the keys to all the good sources without earning your wings. Just remember this next time you make a thread, your wallet will thank you.
