Yea that worked out nicely with the 45lb plates. Going to go slower like brutus79 mentioned with the pause. This also works my grip and finger strength. Very nice exercise gentlemen.

After your hands fail put on some straps. They wont be failing anymoreI go heavy when working my traps. I'm up to 95lbs dumbbells and do as many sets I can do of 10 before my hands fail.

All i really do for direct trap work is heavy shrugs. Mix between dumbbells barbell and with the lunge machine. I always go as heavy as possible with these, and this is the one wxwrcise i use wraps for so i can get in more reps because my grip will give out before i cant shrug no mo
Ya ive seen em an I belive we have a pair lying aroun at the gym but I hear they are awkward to use. I bet the reason for that is not everyones hand sizes are created equal. I keep my straps at the gym an only use them though.I am going to next time. Have you seen thoughts straps with the hooks? I have been thinking of getting a pair just for shrugging.

Lmfao Hes abou as natural as the hamburgers we buy from the grocery stores now days. Tuna an big ramey noodles my ass. Maybe cuz hes eatin noodle made by big ramey himself smh.....I gotta take my goofy ass to bed. Its to damn late for this shitLol kali muscle is so goofy. And the best part is, he's all natural, just heavy weights and ramen noodles n tuna lol. That was weird with the switch grip, i tried that once but it didnt feel right so thats why I just use dem straps.
