The feds have all Powerlife Nutrition Co. Ltd / Mr. Liu emails, his paypal account info, WU info, bank wire info etc. for the past three years. This includes:
  • 169,000 emails from plnutritioncn@gmail between February 9, 2012 and May 22, 2015 that Google fedexed to the DHS-ICE-HSI at the end of May. The powerlifeqf@gmail address was also listed in court documents but I don't know if they subpoenaed them as well.
  • 179 payments received by Sanhong Liu in HK/China; 118 payments made to Yi Yu; and 133 payments to Yuxuan Ding from mid-June 2013 and fall 2015 totaling almost $500,000 according to Western Union records
  • All paypal payment info sent to plnutrition@gmail, plnutritioncn@gmail, aaronytp@126, from June 2012 through July 2015 according to Paypal
A Colorado-based domestic source ratted out "Mr Liu". As a result, the feds likely got the goods on all the other domestic UGLs who did business with him and plnutritionltd.com. Whether they pursue it remains to be seen.

Damn they're sweeping small fruit and all.
I don't know that they're going after the "small fruit" in this particular case. The domestic-UGL-turned-confidential-informant could very well get probation. He said as much in court documents. And I don't know if the feds are using the powerlife nutrition info to investigate other domestic UGLs.

Operation Cyber Juice promised to go after Chinese source of steroid powder. This reveals one tactic they will be using. It's also a potential get-out-of-jail card for the domestic UGL operators taking note who cooperate with the feds and snitch on their Chinese suppliers.

Of course, I doubt many Chinese suppliers will be dumb enough to travel to even an MLAT country much less the U.S. The feds got a big break here.

This won't stop the feds from subpoenaing emails of Chinese suppliers who use email providers based in the U.S. (and also MLAT countries). And when they do, they will uncover extensive details about their domestic UGL customers.

You're right. The feds only caught the Powerlife Nutrition guy because he voluntarily traveled to the U.S. on multiple occasions.

China and other non-MLAT countries generally won't extradite their citizens to U.S. That's why the feds try to catch them when they are traveling either in the U.S. (like Powerlife Nutrition) or in MLAT countries (like when "Musclebear" traveled from Ukraine to Cyprus).

The U.S. may not be able to arrest citizens of non-MLAT countries but they can use the Patriot Act and anti-terrorism laws to seize their assets that are physically located in other sovereign countries under certain conditions (see the Jintropin case during Operation Raw Deal).

Notice that the local guy is being hit at the state level, not the Federal level. Feds have thresholds they apply in determining who to pursue. Not saying you might not find some US Attorney who violates that but they have to justify what they do and everything at the Federal level is in terms of quantity and dollars.

FYI, the Colorado UGL/dealer turned confidential informant was busted on July 30, 2014 by a Boulder County drug task force. He immediately made a sentencing agreement with Boulder County DA's Office and started cooperating with the feds. The cooperation included providing info about customers and 3 suppliers. PLN was only one of the 3 suppliers. Get this: PLN knew that the guy was arrested and still continued to do business with him and even agreed to meet him in person.

Fucked up part is the local UGL is probally sitting in protective custody while snitching on anyone he can. The Fed's will suck him dry and then turn him over to State to get locals & customers. Shows you how much damage one snitch can do. Maybe he'll make mistake of popping back up one day. NEVER SNITCH!!!

Simple. don't use gmail.
Dont use WU
and don't travel in and out.

OCJ? IS being blown out of proportions, those labs that got busted are all start up labs trying to mke a quick buck without actually realizing the security they need.....Gmail??smh...

Spoken like a ugl rep that will be on the other side of the steel bars, sooner or later.

I hate to say it Boxcar, but that's an awfully cocky and bold statement to make, for someone that has been a rep for about a month now. Actually, it sounds like something that your new boss would be trying to convince you of, to keep you on his payroll.

Didn't BD Supplements go down recently as part of OCJ? And they were not some amateur start up.

I ask this, respectfully, Boxcar, as you and I have always been cool, but what makes you so sure that you and Marvel won't be taken down, when these other labs are being popped? Do you really think that if LE wanted you, that YOUR security measures would keep them from getting to you?

Sounds like marvel has his priorities in line, sticking on the dnms. I'm sure his protocol is probably in order.

Sucks to be the clearnet rep though eh?

And no hate boxcar. I'm a realist, and don't give a shit about hopping on the band wagon against anyone doing business. But you definitely want to be keeping it real too bro.

Nah, no hate. Thats why I love meso. A lot of bashing, but as well as a lot of support and people looking out for one another.

I won't/can't speak of my security protocols for my own safety. But yes, the clearnet guy right? lol

And yes, spoken like a rep.

I should of stated my post like this..

Gmail accounts? That is way risky. All other emails where gmail? Used WU as the main payment method where everything is kept and monitored? Not my cup of tea, but whatever works i guess
