After reading that, and knowing there's no harm, you do have to make an ethical decision, however, if you want to donate blood, for free, without a doctors referal (a donation that helps you as well as others)... They will ask questions "similar to", "have you used needles?" and "Have you used any elicit drugs?"... Knowing the information you know about there being no harm, and you will be helping others and yourself, you have to make the ethical decision weather you want to lie or not. All I will say is, I'm very "liberal" on that, because they're going to do tests to make sure it's healthy disease free blood regardless. In some people's eyes I may be wrong for saying that, ethically. But that's just my opinion.
