IMHO supps can give you that edge, maybe help 5%.. But if you're not spot on with nutrition and training they are just a expensive waste of money
Personally I take creatine, leucine and glutamine and that's it.
As far as food is concerned I don't care what it tastes like, what is the texture and if I have to eat it everyday as long as it helps me reach my goal
Most of my weekly diet (I can control it better as my wife is an amazing cook and I must keep peace at home on weekends...) is
Breakfast 1 cup Greek yoghurt (23g protein per cup) Dixie Diners Smaps cold cereal (22g protein per 3/4 cup) 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1/2 cup of 2% milk
This yields 55g of protein and 52g carbs
Mid day my snack is psyllium husks 4 tbsp with 1/2 cup milk
Lunch 10oz chicken breast with 3 cups greens and 1 cup mixed legumes (chick peas, lentils, beans) about 76g protein and 64 carbs
Pre workout mid afternoon 1 scoop whey protein with 1/3 cup oatmeal 29g p and 47g c. This gives me the energy for the workout
Based on what I have for dinner I will eventually compensate with a late snack.
It's boring and redundant but I don't care. It gets the job done and I can enjoy the weekends a little more (still careful though .... )

I see you make fiber a priority in your diet , I do the same . The protein goes thru the pipes better when theres some fiber behind it . Dont bloat as much either . Good man ....~Ogh

I was actually a milkman for about 5 years. We were the last ones in the NE or maybe the country to still deliver milk in a glass half gallon. Very old school company. On saint party's day they made special edition mint milk. Another perk is I always had access to the products and it was encouraged by the owner to drink as much as possible.
