stupidly/lazily overdosed - crashing!

Hi folks,

Quick question for someone more intelligent than me please.. I overdosed some test-c (2% & 20% in cottonseed oil) whilst trying to use up what was left in the freezer.

Its 330mg/ml and it keeps crashing.. Am I ok/will it work to dilute it further with BB until it holds?

if you have more cottonseed use that to cut the mg/ml test C isnt as stable as E at higher concentration. i would aim for 250mg/ml MAX with test C. i wouldnt bother adding more BB. is it worth risking a crash after a pin?

Thats a good point - weirdly it hadn't occurred to me just to increase the overall volume either.

i usually use test-e and didn't expect any differences in brewing C considering how similar they are but I'll definitely remember for next time.

i have had the same issue a while ago when i started homebrewing. the best advice i can give is to keep things simple. use the tried and tested mg/ml. i would rather pin a little more oil if i needed to than mess about fixing a crashed brew lol. good luck.

If you add more oil to increase the total volume, remember to also adjust your BA amount also if needed. I go for 1% BA. Since you used 2% you might get away without needing more but it depends in the final volume you end up with.

I've done 200, 250, and 300 mg/ml test cyp with no issues except the day I left them out in the car during winter.

good shout on upping the BA! Im going to take 13.5ml out of the crashed ones (i fill 50ml vials) and i think ill just top up with oil with 2&20 already mixed in to keep it consistent.

I've made enough errors this time already so i'll stick with what I know lol.

Don't add anything other than oil. You have 2% BA as it stands. Unless your adding another 50% oil the worst that can happen is BA will drop to 1% (I brew with 1% max) more BA will cause pip. 2&3% BA is not needed IMO

so nobody does 2&20 these days? Back when i first gave this a go (in like 2006) that seemed to be pretty much the norm.

I will use 1% max. I dunno why some people still parrot 2 or 3 BA. And BB is only used when needed. Test e at 250mg/ml and I use 0 BB

A lot of people believe that adding more BA will sterilise the gear. NOT TRUE. It will KEEP the oil sterilised. If there is some nasties in there for whatever reason (not correctly filtering etc) then most things will survive no matter what the amount of BA is.

BA simply prevents new Bactria and such from forming.

I have been using 3% ba for a while now. Never had any pip problems. I'm no expert just paranoid because I don't want to be that guy with part of his ass missing

As stated before, more BA does not protect you anymore than 1% will.

Does it evaporate if u put it in while heating solution? always have heard different things on this.

You should not be heating up to the Point anything evaporates. Heat is used to save time. Home brew can be done with very little heat.... Or leave the raws to dissolve in BA/BB

ok thanks mate. i try to keep the heat low and not let it boil, I have been doing it like this for a while now with no problems. I will not be heating the hormones anymore. I don't know why I didn't know this sooner

With some compounds like tren, I use no heat what so ever. I mix the BA and BB add the raw, cover and leave in the cupboard. After a few hours the raw is totally dissolved. A quick stir into the carrier oil then filter.

Works a charm. Never have to worry about damaging the hormone (bro science) but I like to be safe
