Bruce Lee vs Mike Tyson;
Bruce Lee vs Floyd Mayweather
in a UFC style fight with rounds and refs.

I'd say Tyson in 1st and Lee in other match

I'd like to think he would too. But the strength of Tyson is insane. Another but, pound for pound I'd think Bruce is stronger.

But I would like to see how Bruce lee would handle a Tyson roundhouse or uppercut. Might not be pretty considering he only weighed 135lb.
I just don't think Bruce lee would give him the opportunity. He would be bouncing all over that fucking octagon throwing flying kicks and elbows.

Boxers are just that. Boxers. They don't know how to adapt to any other training style. The biggest problem boxers would have is being taken to the ground. All you need to do to a boxer is close the distance and they can't do much of anything. Now if Tyson had great takedown defense , then I would give it to him all day.

Tyson was a fighter. Not really a boxer. Bruce Lee getting In close would be an obvious mistake. Close quarters is where Tyson did his damage. Completely different weight class. Not even a fight.

There was talk back in the day about Bruce Lee vs. Ali. I had a Jeet Kune Do instructor who loved Bruce Lee but said there was no way Lee would beat Ali. FWIW

In boxing if you hold they break you apart. If you tie somebody up they break you apart. In the octagon they don't. Without any distance a boxer can't do much. I Don't know if Bruce lee would be the one to do it but I'm pretty sure if you put a well rounded mms fighter in with Tyson the odds would be against him. Look at kimbo slice. A street fighting brawler. He got beat by that guy with pink hair.

Yes, when you put a one dimensional (boxer) in with an MMA fighter. Bruce Lee was amazing, but giving up upwards of 70 pounds is tough to overcome. Now, if it was Tyson vs. a Gracie, so long as the Gracie didn't get knocked the fuck out, I think they would take him

Agreed, it would have to be someone in Tysons weight class. Bruce is too light in the ass. I'm not saying Tyson would match up well with an MMA fighter in the octagon. I'm just saying Tyson too big and too strong for Bruce regardless of the arena. Tyson probably outweighed the guy by 80lbs of muscle and anger.

I think mike could take him. In my MMA class the boxers are very respected. They have insanely high amount of endurance, they can dodge very well, and those punches are quick. A kick to a face can be blocked kind of like a hook. I think we are over looking how quick boxers are, and lets not forget how hard and fast they can punch.
