I successfully purchased bitcoins by linking my debit card. The downside is it took a few days before the purchase went through.

I have to say that I'm not impressed because I already lost close to five dollars due to the drop in bitcoin market, in just those few days I had to wait.

So frustrating because I only transferred enough for the purchase I was going to make and now I don't have enough.

I sold my bitcoins to put back into my bank account and of course my funds won't be available until Monday. Grrr.

I guess I'm better off trying WU until I get the hang of bitcoins.

Sorry guys, I just had to vent.

That's odd, when I made a bit coin purchase using coin base it was all automatic and went through right away.I didn't have to worry about clearing funds

^^ Listen to pumpingiron22.

Once you get your btc wallet set up for "instant buy", things get easier. You buy coin, transfer wallets (and tumble if you want), and then send out your btc. Bang, bang, bang.

Circle pay blows. I sent them everything they wanted after the issues I had. Photo id,selfie, and all went ok. Now just went to deposit funds and account is closed. They never rede posited the initial 100.00 I put in back to my bank account and communication has been awful. To bad seems like it Would've been the easiest way about
It. Going to try coinbase.

I use coinbase to purchase my Bitcoin. It goes both ways with market. The first two transfers from my account were around 400$ . Both times Bitcoin was up and made around 30$ each time . Now I always transfer a little more than I need to make sure im not short when purchasing. It's actually nice having a small among extra in there and watch how it fluxulates. It does suck the 4-5 business you have to wait but I just plan ahead. I here good things about the circle to. A guess it's easier to get instant coin there.

I believe PI22 has a thread about how to use Circle Pay and how to set up the account properly so the issues you had would not happen.

That's why you buy coin a make your purchase instantly don't wait a few days.

I purchased coins because the Coinbase site said it would be instant, but that wasn't the case for me. As soon as I made the purchase, I got a message saying that the coins should go through in 3 business days. Not sure why it didn't go through instantly.

BTW, than you for the links. Will check them out.

Nobody is better off trying WU.

Takes a minute to get a system going, but it's absolutely worth it once done.

See if you can get circle set up. I'm hesitant to recommend because I've seen some guys having issue lately. But they've always been great for me. Instant.

I want to give it a try, but scared! Lol
Sorry if this is a dumb question but is it safe enough to pay bitcoins directly to a shop from Circle on my iPhone or do I need to figure out Dark Wallet for my laptop? I'm not very tech savvy but trying my best.

Damn, that sucks and this is one of the reasons why I'm hesitant to try Circle.

Darkwallet is best. If nothing else, at least transfer to a different wallet that does not have all your info on file. The brokerage services have been known to suspend accounts for suspicious activity. Don't want to lose your funding source.

Good to know I wasn't the only one that had to wait for several days before the coins went through.

If I decide to try Coinbase again, I'll make sure to transfer a little bit extra just in case. Need to figure out how to get my coins in there instantly.

I made a purchase Saturday night. Said coin would be available Thursday. Funds however were drawn out of my bank account today. So why the fuck does it take an extra 2 days for the coin to be deposited?

There is an option to transfer USD into your actual USD wallet on coinbase. If you do this it will still take the time it did for bitcoin, but you wont lose the money. Once funds are in this USD wallet you can then buy BTC instantly on Coinbase. This would prevent fluctuation while wating.

Hope this helps.
