I figured I'd introduce myself to get things rolling.

Stats:
24 yrs old
6'3"
~235lbs
~19% bf

Bench ~340, squat ~350 and I don't deadlift haha. Been lifting for about 6 years, occasionally on and off depending on school/work schedule. I've done a couple prohormone cycles way back in the day so I'm familiar with cycling although I've got a ton more to learn. Looking to cut until I'm <15% bf then go on a bulk cycle - test e 500-600/wk, typical nolva & clomid pct.

I found this board to be particularly helpful and thought I would sign up and get more into it. Cheers

^^ Thanks brahs

Just never got into it. Skipped squatting for awhile too haha. I got a good friend I lift with now (we'll be cycling together) and he deadlifts, so who knows I might start in the future ;)

Good enough reason as any, but yeah give it a shot, I think you might like the gains that come along with it haha

Welcome to meso!!! This is a great place with some great info and good advice from some pretty knowledgable guys. Good luck

haha I'll give it a shot. Been doing a lot of squats this year so they should be relatively easy to incorporate in

Welcome to Meso man

DEADLIFT OR DIE! , oh and welcome.

Thanks for the welcomes bros!

Yeah bro, just throw some in on back day or something. They're fun, and they get ya strong. Plus chicks dig deadlifts, he'll I was doing some today at the gym, this chick came out of the yoga room and saw me doing them....she came so hard she literally blew a hole in her spandex, true story.

Welcome!

Work up your deadlift. It's worth it. Traps, back, glutes, hams. And in six-twelve months, it'll be your strongest lift. You'll learn to look forward to them. Alpha as fuck when you lock out your new heaviest PR, which will come damn near constantly if you work them up right.

Look up the Mark Rippetoe starting strength videos. You should buy them, but they can also be had by cheap asses. I won't lie, I previewed them. They're great form checks, the cues work well for learning the lift properly.

Deads are fucking awesome. Why wouldn't you deadlift, unless you honestly couldn't for medical reasons? It's the most fun you can have with a barbell. And you don't need a spotter or rack to max out. There are no excuses, other than major back injury.

I mean back injury, or too much estrogen, or if you're on your period or something :D:D:cool::cool: hahaha

No shade towards op, of course, just talking outta my ass.
