Milk, for or against?

Well well well, this has sparked quite the little debate hasn't it? Lol. I just want to stop shitting my pants.:-) for what it's worth my acne IS improving. The milk is the only thing I've changed. Since that time the scale hasn't gone down and I've been adding in extra calories from other sources now. I'll continue this self experiment and see how's it progresses.

Have the hormone injected cows been documented and researched too? How about the vitamin D injections into the utters of dairy cows? Has that been researched and documented as well?

Got milk? ;)

Ironically enough we inject our own selves with these hormones. Doesn't stop a single person here from pinning AAS, shouldn't stop you from drinking milk unless you're intolerant or don't like the taste.

We humans also get vitamin D injections.

Valid point, Doc. However my choices are not base solely on vitamin injections or what hormones are being introduced, but rather the overwhelming information available supporting the unhealthy causes and results of consuming dairy products.

Can you post some of this information?

I believe you that it doesn't apply to you but that's a decision you've made for yourself. The point of the quote was to let others make the decision for themselves as they see fit since many ppl have no issues with dairy as well as point out the hypocrisy of the part about arbitrarily deciding which parts of the cow to eat. I don't like eating liver and it messes with my stomach so I don't eat it but I won't tell others not to eat it if they enjoy it.
But you love your cheese!

Mostly correlational evidence linking dairy with acne but, anecdotally, plenty of people have noticed an improvement when they cut their dairy consumption.

This effect may be caused by the increase in IGF1 signalling, increase in mTOR activation, the high quality nature of dairy as a protein source, etc, etc.

Basically, everything that makes dairy a fantastic protein choice for muscle growth seems to make it a terrible choice for those prone to acne.
I have been a milk proponent here for years... read my logs- gallon a day to 280. Any test over 300mg a week and I would get nasty cystic pustules on my chest and back, zits on my face, etc. Watched cowspiracy on netflix and dropped beef and dairy for different reasons. Running test over a gram a week and not a zit. Amazing.

@Northern Nutrition , curious what youre daily diet looks like.

Just noticed this, brother.

Basically it consists of mixed vegetables (broccoli, spinach, peas, peppers, carrots, corn..ect).
Legumes(red kidney beans, chick peas, brown beans, ..ect
Eggs, some chicken, turkey. (im really trying to reduce animal protein)
Potatoes.
Natural PB.
Nuts, seeds..ect
Brown rice and pea protein isolate.
Bananas, mango, oranges, dates..ect

That pretty much covers it with the odd addition depending on what im eating. I try to be as creative as possible while attempting to reduce animal protein without sacrificing daily protein goals. It can be challenging at times. But so far i feel terrific while i continue to learn about other protein sources and recipes and enjoy low fat meals that are healthy and nutritious.

Always looking for different perspectives. Trying to stay away from red meat. And chicken...just cant eat it, so many years of chicken. Pretty much on only eating turkey right now as far as meat protein goes. Turkey, rice, spinach, eggs, and pb is all ive been eating recently..looking to switch things up. Have some heart issues i have to deal with as well..just got out of the hospital 3 days ago. Certain foods i was told to stay away from..so pretty bland at the moment.

I drink a half gallon of egg whites a day. 200 grams protein is a lot better than 128 from a gallon of milk. Farts are a bit aggressive but no zits and I'm holding tough at 280 and leaning out.
Nice! You drinking that shit straight like Rocky or you mixing it like shakes?

Fairlife 2% chocolate milk. Awesome chocolate milk. Lactose free if you have that issue. Good pre and pwo if youre into that kind of thing. 900 cal and 100gs of protein.

Roger that. And I wish you well and a speedy recovery, brother.

Fairlife milk. Just got it and increased my protein ALOT. My protein shakes are crazy now. 1 cup has 13 g milk and 13 g crabs. No Lactose. Has good calcium too.

I switched to Soya milk around 5 months ago and my insides definitely thank me for it.

I put it down to the combination of milk and whey being a little too much to take rather than just the milk though.

Egg lands best raw w chocolate syrup. Tastes like yoohoo. #bulkingandcuttinghack
I have to make sure that I heard this absolutely correct because I know you were a big big big time milk drinker and I know from several of your posts that you had to run your test low because of a severe acne issue.
You stopped consuming dairy and red meat and are now able to run your Test high with no acne issues?
