Rubber membrane in the bottom of the vial?

When filling pre sealed vials with and 18g needle I keep getting a tiny little piece of the rubber membrane in the vial. Tried going in at different angles it doesn't seem to help. Will it be fine if I just don't suck them up and inject them. Everything will sterilized before I started filling the vials.

You might need to fill with a 20g jeep... It doesn't do quite the damage as an 18g. I don't like any kind of debris in my gear. I'd pull it out and filter it into a new vial. But that's me.

That's what I was thinking. Just start over from scratch. I just didn't know if the little piece would dissolve from the solvent in the gear.

How big is the vial? If it's like 50ml, I'd def transfer it over to a new one.

I'd also be afraid that there maybe smaller pieces that you can't hardly see.

Poke the 18g back in and put the end near the floaty, pull back and vacuum the floaty to the end of needle the pull it out :) Has worked for me.
P.s i never use 18g any more for anything

Little story for you...

I was using an 18g to draw out of a big 20ml for some time. Anyway, I did a shot and had crippling pain and a knot for a few weeks. Well, I drew another shot as I figured I hit a nerve or something.... Looked in the barrel of the syringe, and fuck me! There were little bits of the stopper floating around. I'm still convinced I injected a little piece of rubber into myself.... Obviously it can go into the syringe, I figure it can go pass a 23g needle just fine sometimes as well.

Moral of the story, use a smaller gauge needle.

Buy a crimper and tops and use scissors to cut the presealed sterile vial
Tops, fill then reseal with new top
Use the same stopper

Your vials must come with shitty stoppers. I've been pinning out of the same overfilled 100ml vial of test I made, I use open vials and sterilize and cap myself, for over a year now wih 18G needles. Never had it happen on my homebrew except for the one time I used a rubber septa on a glass media jar but that shit was garbage anyway.

It's only happened to a couple of vials. As far as Quality goes I got the from one of the main trusted sources for vials syringes etc.

it happens. i think the rubber just gets dried out and then crumbles. maybe old vials. did you get them from med lab supply? they get their vials from allergy medical. usually g2g but every now and then....

Stopper quality. Go with silicone stoppers. Much more durable and won't blow out. Especially if you draw with an 18g consistantly.

I get 20's from robo and draw with a 18g. By the time I reach the end of the vial that stopper is wasted haha. I just blew put a primo stopper last night.

You could also just up the gauge a but to a 20 or 23. Shouldn't have a problem there.

No I got them from GPZ. I just think that the 18g needle has like a cookie cutter effect on the rubber sometimes. Like I said it only happened to a few vials. I'm just going to fill with the 20g or 22g from now on.
