How much do you guys INCLINE dumbbell bench?

I've done 100s x 12 but I haven't touched Dumbbells in a while, but I'll be doing some more reps and BB function things in the coming weeks cause I need to square off with @Thenewera on an incline bench challenge and see if I can complete the workouts he does :D

I have my labrum in each shoulder torn and i hit these all the time but i have tk make sure i stretch and take knots out all the time. And also make sure that everything in my shoulder is strong.

Anyways, i change my workouts every 4 weeks and inclines with stretched out workouts help my growth the most. I dont care about how much i lift anymore because some workouts have the at beginning and others have them as 2nd or 3rd exercises

P. S. I use to do 130s for 10 but again reached the fuck it point. Right now if it hurts i just start at 30s and work up to whatever I can do at 10 reps or 15 reps each.
So 30x10, 40x10, 50x10,....usually hit 100 or 105x10. Then take a minute or so break. And do two to three sets of one below that weight for 10 reps (so if i work up to 105x10, then i go for 100x 10 for 2 to 3 sets after that)

I usually go fairly light on dumbbells. I try to really focus on achieving a slow and controlled stretch on the way down (2-3 seconds) and a hard contraction on the way up. Sometimes I will hold down at the bottom for a split second to really feel the stretch. The pump off of those are insane. Very seldom do I go over 100 pound dumbbells. Worth giving a try.

To me 80lbs is the max to safely get into position on incline bench without risking injury, unless have a spotter to hand you the weights and be ready to catch if you fail.

props to all you guys that can go heavy on these! I'm sketched out just getting the up and back down safely. I usually hit them after going hard on reg. BP's and work with the 75's.

I look like an epileptic trying to get them up, and i'm afraid I tear off a nipple trying to lower them back down.

Lol same here...feel like a spastic struggling to get 80 or even 85lbs db's up in position on incline.

That's a solid lift brother. Definitely not worth risking an injury.
Thanks. I do feel sketched out going real heavy with the dumbbells anyhow. I go more reps per set with the weight I am comfortable with handling without injury.

Already had an injury a few years back when some idiot bumped me when I was pressing 110's on flat bench, then lost control of the db's.

I would love to post a chest workout, actually I'll list my exact one I did as of today. Check my log in a bit!

It's all mental.... If don't think you can get it up, you never will. You gotta KNOW you can do it!!! The mind is powerful

Keep the core tight, and kick those bitches up with your knees!

Agreed. A lot of my friends would be much stronger if they didn't doubt themselves.
Music helps me a lot.
Also I've seen things like this hooks but MUCH smaller, like wrist wrap length and I've seen people hooking and shrugging 405 plus with them. I would say their weight limit is quite high.

You know those little pink and blue rubber coated dumbbells? They're like 5 and 10 pounds each and I can pop out like 20+ reps with those. Pumps are amazing and I've even dropped one and was able to catch it on the rebound and continue the set. That takes focus
