Sterilizing vials

I have to wonder - unless you're using the glassware to dig month old human remains out of a landfill, how the fuck does something so nasty get on a vial in the first place? If this level of death surrounds us daily I want out.

It does surround you daily and your body's defense system (skin, hair, immune system, etc) does a good job of keeping you alive and well but injecting these things directly into your body bypasses your greatest line of defense.

Do you do anything before baking? Wash? If so with what?

May be over-kill, but it's how I do...

* Rinse thoroughly
* Soak in a bath of anti-bacterial soap and some ISO Alchohol
* Rinse out w/ distilled H2O
* Cover each bottle-top w/ a small piece of aluminum foil and place in the oven @ 350 Degrees via 30-45 min...
* Each should be sterile and ready for some oil.

Wash with warm water and detergent or lab glass cleaner. Rinse thoroughly. Rinse again with distilled water. Bake at 500deg F for ~1.5hrs

I washed them in 90% alcohol , then destiled water and sterilised in laboratory sterilisator by 150 Celsius.

I buy sterilized bottles and of there really not sterile. Shame on them. It works also alcohol and oven
I worry alot myself but keep it away from water only alcohol .bacteria is thriving in water

Also, what works, is i fill my mouth with mouthwash and spit just a little bit in each vial and wipe it out with a dirty rag. Kind of like a bartender in them old western movies except i doubt he uses mouthwash. I think it's chew spit.
