Anyone know shelf life on finished product? Wanted to stockpile and be sure.

Stored correctly (no light, room temp or somewhat cool) should go a few years with little to no degradation. If i were to make something i planned on storing for a while i'd probably use 2 to 3 % ba.

Big pharma and veterinary use about 5 years
Many people (including me) have used expired gear and it still packs the same punch.
So I'd say 5 years for sure and possibly even 7 or 10 gears.

Since this is the homebrewing subforum
I've heard that if powders are kept in a sealed bag, away from light or heat/cold they last even longer than finished gear.

Thanks for your input and knowledge. My raws are definitely sealed, dark, and cool. I usually run a 2%ba so nothing grows, but glad to find out I can store longer in proper conditions as a finished product. I ask because I would like to pull the trigger on a vac filter and make a grip at once since I can use a filter for a good amount of solution. Thanks again!
