This might be a stupid question but in really confused I thought this shit is illegal to have in products for some time now? Why all the sudden am I seeing a shit ton of products with dmaa in them now?

This doesn't answer your question but I've got a friend who's a big shot at the company that put out the jacked pre workout stuff. The feds were up their ass for a time.
He sent me some of the original formula stuff with dmaa in it and some of the new stuff without it. They had a warehouse full of the old formula after it was pulled from the shelves.
I couldn't speak after taking the dmaa blend. I was geeked out...and not in a good way. I'll skip that stuff.

Unless the law changed - you can't market or sell a supplement with DMAA as an ingredient, but DMAA isn't illegal - you as a consumer can purchase raw DMAA powder legally. Companies just aren't allowed to sell or market sports supplements with it as an ingredient.
I don't understand why these insane pre workouts are desirable, especially for guys running gear. Check your heart rate some time, it doesn't take much gear for me to sit at 80-90 at rest all the time. Last thing I want is to run it even higher, this lifestyle puts enough stress on your heart.
Anyway, here is a supplement store that sells DMAA in powder form just to demonstrate it's availability / legality in powder form:

I doubt any of the big sports supplement companies are selling anything with DMAA these days, probably just smaller companies who don't care about the legality of it.
Unless of course these guys found some new grey area that allows them to get away with it, for a little while anyway...

My understanding is that Dmaa was banned from supplements because it was synthetic. Some supplement companies are stating that it's naturally occurring so it should be allowed in supplements. They are selling products with it while it's tied up in court. I think the company leading the fight is high tech pharmaceuticals which is a shady ass company. Check out some of the android they are marketing right now if you have a chance. They have names like deca, anavar etc. shady fucks.

I use total nutrition sometimes and they have diet pills and pre workout with Dmaa. The pills are called hydroxyelite and the pre workout is called hemo rage I think.

They are in fact still putting dmaa in pre workout formulas.... they simply changed the name to geranaburn... claiming it is naturally produced from geraniums... mesomorph preworkout is loaded with this shit...

Yeah I took it in the original oxy elite pills but it doesn't let me sleep so it was a no go for me as far as pre workout because I train in the evenings most of the time.
Did mesomorph change their formula? I keep seeing the V2 I also see one with geranaburn but I'm afraid if I buy they'll just send the V2 version because on their site they say they constantly change formulas and they're not responsible for out dated "supplement facts"

there are a few other links... I took DMAA my freshman year of college and got drug tested when I applied to work at the state, and came up clear... but I have heard about false positive for amphetamines showing up for it, but if then they will retest if that happens... also if you're really stressing stop using and just drink a shit ton of water and hit the sauna
