Not wanting to spend a hour pushing through a syringe filter, what all is needed for a vac filter? Looking for something that could be capped, like a screw on cap after filter.

Are the glass beaker filters ok? The plastic ones crack correct?
I use a glass media bottles and the Whatman bottle top filters are plastic.
I ordered one from gpz. The bottle is glass, forget the brand name.
Where would a person buy such a pump?

No it's not mine, I'm also looking for such a pump and someone points me to this. I'm considering getting one, the bottle is glass.
I use a harbor freight 2.5 cfm vacuum pump. Bought a hose that would connect to pump and filter nipple (is it wrong I'm thinking of Ranger dangers avi when I posted that, lol), glass media bottles and Whatman bottle top filters. Works great.

What filters do you use in this?
Depends on what oil carrier and additional substances you will be filtering. Nylon and/or pvdf are my preference. The membrane support plate, typically is 47Ømm, just make sure you choose .2-.22um filter membrane.
So once its filtered and in the beaker, what's the safest clean protocol to vial?
Ive got sterile 10ml vials, just draw it out and fill? Should this be done like inside of a very large plastic bag thats been somehow sterilized?

I have nylon but I think I have .45um I can't remember because I haven't used mine yet. I'm missing a rubber stopper to seal it all and have had no luck getting one the right size. I might use the .45 and then refilter with the .22
Draw it up with 60cc syringe, connect syringe filter with syringe attached and place in caulking gun and filter into vials. Depending on what brand of 60cc syringe you may only be able to fill it with about 45ml oil and still fit in the caulking gun. Keep oil very warm while doing this so its easier. When finished, place needle back in the needle holder (hard plastic sleeve needle was in) with filter and draw up more oil using just syringe and repeat. You'll be also using a needle in the vial stopper that air escapes from as you are filling with oil.
So AFTER it runs through the bottle top filter filer it again?

If you look up dp-01 vacuum pressure pump you get a bunch of folks selling the complete system from China. Just google.
