Why would he reship? A reship policy is put in place by a company that is shipping outside its own country and therefore must deal with getting the contents past customs agents that are looking for contraband.Just curious, has anyone every been asked to sign and refused?
What does the post office do then?
Darius, do you still reship if a customer refuses to sign for a package?
Some countries are more difficult than others to get through. Australia and Canada are 2 of the notoriously more difficult to get through. Many outfits will have a disclaimer saying that they won't reship to certain countries because of the difficulties associated with their Customs.
When a pkg is seized by our customs dept a seizure letter is sent to the address and person the pack was addressed to. The letter informs the person that the pkg has been seized and the reason. It may have been seized because it is contraband and therefore not allowed to enter the country.
Another reason for the seizure would be that the item may not have been taxed properly. The addressee will be given the opportunity to pay the tax and collect his pkg. The addressee who had the contents of his pkg seized because it was deemed contraband will also be given the opportunity to contest the decision and take possession of the contents. The USPS must hold the pkg in question for a period of 30 days. The package will then be destroyed.
Now, the reship policy that Pharmacom has is similar, if not the same as most int pharmacies. Theirs may be tailored to fit their specs. For example, when dealing with a seized pkg that contains promotional products pcom will only resend the paid merchandise and not the freebies. Sucks for the customer because in certain circumstances that means half the order is lost.
We know that Pcom does not require that their pks require a signature to be delivered. That is something that our USPS decides and is out of Pcoms control. They have done their part. The pkg has shipped and cleared our Customs. A delivery attempt has been made. The USPS is wanting a signature. @Inquiring Mind , why should Pcom ante up and reship your order at their expense because you don't want to sign? I've read some of your posts. You're an intelligent guy. Fear causes otherwise bright guys to appear less than. Do you really feel your question is a legitimate one? You're simply afraid that you are going to be arrested once you sign for your steroids, correct?
Everyone who is going to order gear online is going to have to accept a certain amount of risk. It's inherent when dealing with a schedule 3 drug that is being acquired without a prescription. Sign for the package you ordered or don't. If you don't, please don't try and shift what is your responsibility to another. Especially the entity that you have entered into an agreement with and who has held up their part of the deal.
