Harvoni

I have, but we've already discussed it at length a long time ago. Cured me in eight weeks with no sides except a little temporary brain fog. Do it if you have the chance.

My apologies brutha, I'm still in a fog after my surgery. Very good to hear. The reason I ask is because I finally made the appointment and see the doc on Thursday. Figured if I got down time from surgery, mite as well get rid of the ol' hep nasty too.
Just outa curiosity, could you train while on the harvoni?

It didn't make the slightest difference in my training. I never missed a day and kept making progress as normal.

So how the hell did you get your insurance to cover it? I have highmark and they said fuck off basically. Apparently when medicine is too expensive, insurance can decide it doesn't have to pay

I have medi-cal. That's here in socal. It picks up what my Medicare dose not...
I'll find out Thursday if it's covered...

I got mine right when I got out of prison and had Medicaid at the time. When Harvoni first came out they had a patient assistance program that automatically accepted you if Medicaid denied you and you tried to appeal it and got denied a second time. I don't think it's that easy anymore, but I was lucky to get in when it was like that. Only time being broke ever paid off, lol. I know there's no way my insurance now would cover it.

i went through treatment for type 3 (hardest to treat) back in 14. 6 months ribovarin, sovaldi. 200k. 3 years later my viral load still 0. Treatment was pretty brutal. The fatigue was a killer.
