So over a month I was out drinking. Ended up going home with this girl. When we got out of the taxi, she for some reason jumped on my back. Coinsidentally, I was standing on some ice, and ended up slamming my shoulder at light speed straight into the ground. The morning after my shoulder was swolen and blue, and was painful as fuck.

Now, over a month later I still can't do lateral raises or any form of "windmill" with my shoulder. Can do presses just fine.

Does anyone have an idea of what could have happened inside the shoulder? Should i see a doctor?

Personally I would get it checked out. Shoulder problems can linger forever and the longer you wait the more potential damage you can do. Might be a rotator cuff injury or may be inflammation or several other things. I do believe there are a few self tests you can do to help possibly narrow down your possible injury. Simple Google search should bring up some self tests you can do if you want to try them.

need to get an MRI done. I had rotator cuff surgery done about 17 years ago and I def put it off way to long and could have saved myself tons of aggravation but getting it done sooner.

Haha, you guys scared me. Went to the doctor today, told me I had acute bursitis. 1 week of diclofenac and a cortisone shot, and I'll be fine.:D
