Where my Irish homies at!?

Every time i see anything to do with the Irish, i think about that quote from Matt Damon's character in, The Departed; "The Irish are the only people impervious to psychoanalysis." And no, Freud did not say that, Matt Damon did.

View attachment 57598 ok well I'm not full Irish but I'm 3rd Gen off the boat. Also this is the first time I've gotten to drink in 6+months wife gave me the night off.;)

That right there is some good stuff.Im not Irish but love the Irish people.A night out for me isn't a club or a lounge. I'll hit the Irish pubs in the city.

1/2 English, 1/4 Sicilian and 1/4 Irish. The Irish side is the only one we don't know the history of because my great grandfather was a traveling drunk. All the others are traced way back.

I'm like 5/16th native American and the rest seems to have come to the US post civil war for Ireland and some Scottish on my dad's side.

Same here. Cherokee and Irish.
Funny how common that was. I wonder if it was because both felt ostracized by the "white man" , both groups were on the same poverty level, maybe they both had a better connection to the land/nature. Most likely scenario is that they both liked to drink and party.lol:oops:
