Milestone achieved. Here's a vid from the gym earlier, 500 squat in knee sleeves, 550 squat in knee wraps and a 405 bench. I pulled 585 today just for fun, but my face is in the vid too much. Go back a few pages for an old vid of me pulling 585.
Nice
Its a bit different. FS isnt a high rep deal. Best for 5 reps tops. The abs and back muscles fatigue too fast and leads to poor form in higher reps. Even tho its a squat the mechanics are different, the form is different and its hard for me to interchange the two. Now i just feel awkward backsquatting.Thanks. You and @Dw725 really got me wanting to front squat 405, too. Hit 285x7 the other day. It's kind of a side goal of mine right now.

But i like your form and depth on BS. That is a true squat and you should be proud. I dont see a good squat often IRL.
Cross arm it like Magnus doesThanks, I appreciate the kind words. I've only been front squatting like a month now and have been doing 5x7. I'll switch to 5x5 next week and maybe a 6x3 every so often to keep things fresh. I do them after back squats and a deadlift accessory due to the nature of my program, so I'll always be fatigued going into them.
You know I failed a couple times on the last rep or two, not because my legs were beat, but just dropping the bar because I couldn't stay upright and also i use Olympic grip and my lack of mobility gets in the way.
Im at 405 on bench, 455 on squat, and 545 on dl. Working hard on squats and deads so hopefully I'll be there by the end of summer.
I have been mostly powerlifting with some hypertrophy work since about September. I am running a 16 week 5/3/1 program for deadlifts, but kinda just do my own thing for the other days. I've been reading this forum since October and you guys have really got me motivated to learn as much as possible and get as strong as I can.You powerlift? What program you running?

About 10 years ago, I used to do local bench competitions and did 460 but tore my shoulder up and stopped for a while, and when I finally got back to the gym was kinda weary of going too heavy, plus I really got out of shape. Now I feel a million times better and am addicted to lifting again.
Do you have any recommendations for an intermediate overall program?I've seen your posts a few times. Had no idea you were into powerlifting though. I try to know who is in the club around here, too. 5/3/1 was good for my deadlift, didn't do much for my other lifts.
Thanks and I'll try it out if I can't improve my mobility. You do cross armed?

I'm close. I've got 4/5/? Haven't tested it. But did 506 3x3 a few weeks ago. I'll have 6 plates sooner than 700 pull.Bumping another good one. I can think of at least four other people that must be there or at least on the verge of being there.
