Knee Wraps Wrist Wraps

I was a small person until I got out of the army and starting lifting serious. When I retired in 2014 I was 175. Now I'm at 215-220.

I will eventually get back down to around 195-200. As I get older and focus more on functional fitness.

I have the Nordic Lifting knee sleeves and wrist wraps, which I use for heavier sets. As my knees are shot to hell from years of sports plus accidents I need the sleeves to keep my kneecaps in place as they are practically floating (due to tendon damage), so that I can squat and dead without my knees crumpling. Wrist wraps are great for keeping wrists stable too.

I also got the bands now for elbow tendinitis...really helps keep the tendons in the elbow area from slipping and getting caught under or in the elbow joint. These should also make benching easier.

Yes getting older sucks, but I do like lifting.

My wrist wraps are SBD flexible 1m, knee wraps none I use SBD knee sleeves only. Unless you have really well designed form and heavy squat knee wrap can fuck you up if you overdo...

@franchise24 did you have to contact Powerbelly directly to get your wraps? Their website has said out of stock for everything for over a year now.

Have you used the Death Rows yet? I think the Executioners would be better for me, wraps with more rebound are better for my squat style.

Yeah I had contact him directly. I called left a message. They sent me a text a message with an email address. I have all their contact info. I have to update my gear review. The DeathRow wraps are my favorite wrap right now. You can wrap them tight get nice rebound and a good amount of stopping power.

Or you can lay them on lose enough to run through sets and reps with out cutting circulation off. If you want I'll pm you all the email addresses I have for them.

I also have the elitefts kraits and heavies like those also. But hard to compare them to the deathrows. My deathrows are 2.5m. The Kraits and heavies are 3m.

Another knee wrap I'm going to get are the pioneer phantoms according to the chart they have great rebound, good stopping power and have some stretch and are thick.

Which do you get the most out of and what is your stance and style in terms of foot placement and descent speed? @acoll83 said he got 100lbs out of the Death Rows, but we have a different squatting style.

My stance is slightly wider than shoulder width. I have two decent speeds. Lol. My deca decent speed which is fast and my no deca speed which is slow.

I have tried to hit a PR in the Deathrows. But I'm sure if I can't get someone to wrap me correctly I would get 80-100 pounds out of them. I've wrap myself with the Titan thp's and have gotten 80 pounds out of those.

I like to my knees wrapped for revolutions up then crossed over my knee and get two more revolutions behind the knee. I can do that by myself but it's a fucking workout. Then another forearm hand workout rolling them back up, trying to get all the slack out of them. I need to invest in a roller.

The Deathrows for sure will give you pop. There aren't super stiff like the Titan Signature Gold's.

I'll wrapped up next week and go for a heavy single 9.5 RPE and see how they hold up.
