Grew up going to G-town, been to way better beaches but it's home! The fishing is awesome. What the hell is a little flesh eating bacteria, we all need to give back!
That's the one stop on the way to the deer lease we can't pass up!!!! It's guilt ridden but well worth the self loathing at the gym later.
I thought the bay had been cleaned up by now? Been wanting to take the kids to see the ocean. Its still floating around?

It's not as bad as it's been. I'm actually going to help some friends that live there move this weekend since I'll be in Houston tomorrow anyways. I'll jump in the water for science and let you know how it goes after
No sir, that's only after a influx of fresh water into the bay system. Very seldom does it affect the gulf unless your by a tributary into the gulf. The main issues is seaweed and red tide, but that's not as common as people think.

That's exactly what I was talking about. The salinity levels of the water are the main factors in the rise in the bacteria levels. The higher the salinity levels the lower the bacteria count. When we have an influx of fresh water it allows the bacteria to multiply.
When would be a good time of the season to go then?
Summer time is the best, but it's hot a hell.
