I command you to grow.... Do you believe it?

The mind is a powerful thing and CT Fletcher thinks you can command body parts to grow. Ya ya ya I'm not crazy and I'm not saying it works. Does anyone believe you can think a body part bigger? Of course you'd would have to work that body part but I can't see it actually working just because I thought it. Curious if anyone actually thinks this is possible.

Of course not!

He's a fake natty youtube body builder with a gimic...

Doing what he does he's able to build a fan base and make money.

Not at all. The mind has a huge role when it comes to the training aspect of bodybuilding and gaining muscle but no you need a lot more than just that to make your muscles grow.

Its called visualization. Most effective during meditation. The body follows what the mind truly believes is possible.

There's been research correlating stress & overall health. By measuring, cortisol and adrenaline levels, researchers have found that stress affects the autonomic nervous system and neuroendocrine function. Placebo effect & conditioning has been studied countless times, taking a pill, can trigger biological response, even if it’s a placebo. This influences physiological functions such as hormone levels and immune responses, and works regardless of our conscious beliefs. There's no real division between mind and body , just networks of communication between the brain and neurological, endocrine and immune systems. So- Yes it's possible, but not to the extent that you'll get noticeable results without any physical traction (hard work) added to it.

I wish that were the case, although I'm not buying it.. would make my life a lot easier, not having to spend 2 hours in the weight room every morning!! I think there's something to visualizing the muscle you're trying to hit with a particular movement, but that's about the extent of it, IMO...

Absolutely. Its called the mind muscle connection and it's a technique Arnold used and talked about in his book Education of a Bodybuilder. We underestimate the power of intention

I'm guessing you believe it doesn't work but you make it work because you try that much harder?

I believe it's absolutely a real thing.

I don't necessarily believe you can look at your arms and tell them to grow and expect anything to happen... But the mind is a powerful thing, no doubt about it.

When training hard, your mind will always fail before your muscles do. If you can condition your mind to allow yourself to lift more and train harder, did you grow because of your muscles or because of your mind?

I think mind muscle connection is something different though. That does work but would it work any differently if you constantly visualized your muscles getting bigger...million dollar question I guess.

They would grow about as much as injecting physiological range dose of test and doing nothing else.

Using 100% of our brain yes absolutely we could make our bodies do all kinds of shit without ever lifting a weight

I believe in focusing on the muscle now..
I think about it like.. every muscle/muscle group has its own military and you have to focus your attention on building that military and not just throw around weight trying to stimulate the body's whole nervous system. ..
And no I am not stoned..
Not yet :)
