The Country Music Thread

We have a couple metal threads, a non metal rock thread and a hip hop thread floating around but I haven't seen a country music thread. I grew up metal and will always love metal but a huge part of me is country. Some of my best memories are focused around country music events and that type of lifestyle. Any other shit kickers out there?

Central and western MA is as country as you can get. We have herded all of the liberal types to the eastern coast, except for Amherst. That's pretty liberal out there....

Fag country music like FL GA Line and Luke Bryan really shitty down the genre. Again i know FL GA Line have been huge for veterans raising money and a bunch of other stuff

But it aint country. Its pop and its marketed that way too
Its not limited to JUST them. This started a LONG time ago. They were just the immediate ones i could think of

We used to see his old band at local shows back in the day. He would open for other local bands and had a small crowd. Funny how times change things.

Up North country is country. Dont gotta wear a gay hat and pointy toed shoes to "show" your country. Dont gotta have a super imposed southern accent to get accepted. There more real up there in the North

We certainly have our fair share of good music up north and country does fall into that label. Arron has to be one of the most talented we have had in a while. The amount of 'America' that oozes from that dude is staggering as well. So fucking patriotic.

A skinny fat 30 some thing yr old male with a barb wire tat, cowboy hat, pointy toed shoes and a lifted pickup dont make a cowboy. Especially if yo ass works downtown.
