any vegans

Okay so I have watched what the health and food inc. and am basically on the brink of becoming vegan. It's mainly the actual science behind humans and evolution and how our body's were not actually made to eat decaying flesh. The only thing that is holding me back is the fact I don't have much excess income and I don't feel I will get enough protein in without taking in too much carbs(which I'm sensitive too).

Any vegans(or not) like to wade in and tell me what they think about vegans In bodybuilding. Can it be done as well as a meat eater like myself?

Yes, you can become vegan and still be a bodybuilder. It's pretty difficult and I would go as far as labeling it dangerous if you don't know how to eat... But it is possible, just not easy or ideal.

With that said, Netflix documentary's aren't sending you should be basing your life choices off of... Many times they are nothing more than clickbait with biased opinions and not a lot of scientific fact.

Hahahah. I don't think any human being is meant to eat ANY type of decaying food.

You said decaying flesh in your 2nd sentence. No shit Sherlock. When's the last time you had to eat any type of decaying anything?

Your dietary choices are up to you, and if you become vegan I will not laugh at that.... but the fact you said decaying flesh had me going.

Once the animal is dead the flesh slowly begins to decay. That's why we have to vacuum pack, salt or refrigerate meats. So in theory by the time we actually eat it, it is in fact decaying.

Looks like their scare tactics have effected you. Thats what they are. A cult following aimed at delivering fear. If you wanna turn vegan by all means go ahead. But either stand for some thing or youll fall for anything.

Doesn't the same thing happen to plants? If I cut open a cantaloupe and set it on the counter, isn't it slowly decaying? But just like a steak.... You do something with it before its at a point that is dangerous

You need to be able to get all of your macros and nutrition from a limited food group. You need to know understand how to combine certain foods to get complete proteins. I know one vegan and one vegetarian that both got themselves into trouble because they were lacking important parts of a healthy diet.

If those are your reasons you're doing it for the wrong reasons, and you've been taken for a ride with false logic.

Do it for the right reasons, not wanting to harm animals, don't do it for some pseudo scientific, false bullshit.

I don't get ethical vegans. If a grizzly bear or shark sees you do think they're going to say hmmmm maybe I should let him live. I wonder if he has a family or if he's scared that I'm going to eat him. Fuck no they're going to eat your stupid ass so you kill that son of bitch and all his friends too.

Fuck vegans, everyone is drilling it into your heads that eating meat is bad for your health. So are brittle bones, shit protein sources, and rotten teeth from being a vegan!!!! Best of luck

These fools don't know anything about being a vegan and will only give you bad advice!

o_O Do you eat sharks and grizzly bears often then? Conversely, when is the last time you heard of a chicken or a cow attacking and eating a person?

Have you ever heard of the Yulin Dog Festival? It's an annual celebration in China. Long ago, it was believed that eating dog meat would stimulate internal heat that would keep you warm through the winter... It's turned into just a cultural celebration now I suppose. Something like 10k dogs are crammed into crates and transported to Yulin where they are paraded in front of huge crowds and then killed, cooked and eaten. I've heard, although I'm unsure if it's true, that they purposely parade the dogs in front of the loud crowds in order to stimulate adrenaline in the animals, which in turn will give those that eat the meat extra vitality or something. A lot of the animals are sick and suffering by the time the trip to there demise ends... But, they still get to be in a nice loud parade before they get there heads lopped off. Dogs love loud parades and crowds after all, right?

Now, what do you think about something like this? Sounds pretty horrible to me, I love dogs. But, kind of hard to judge when Americans do a lot of the same things here. It's just a different meat from a different animal.

If someone doesn't believe in killing animals for food because they personally don't need to eat them, maybe you should have some fucking respect for there ethical views. Maybe this doesn't apply to you though if you're just eating grizzlies and sharks out of self defense... Keep up the good fight.
