Critique my diet

Doesn't seem like enough food to hit your desired calories or protein intake. No micro nutrients. Do you really need the shakes out of necessity? I'd drop them and replace with real food.

You and your stupid questions lmaooo

You make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.

Absolutely no problem to use a shake to increase proteins and carbs as long as it's low in fat.

Please stop giving advice moron

Drop the shakes and replace them with real food. Especially you want to cut the shakes gonna make you feel hungry most the time

Not looking forward to cooking so many damn potatoes.

Anyways, any MILD oral I could throw in with this cut that would make a noticeable difference or allow me to increase my deficit? Keep in mind, I am cruising. I was thinking maybe var. I was suggested winny, but I’m not sure how strong that is. Haven’t read about it yet.

If you aren't willing to do the cooking to make sure that your diet is in check, gear is a complete waste of your money.

I practically live in the kitchen, brotha. I just am not looking forward to prepping a shit ton of potatoes, especially since I don’t meal prep. I just cook my meals every day.

Potatoes are easy bro. Cut them into small pieces, boil them until tender and either eat them right away or bake them with some garlic and olive oil.

I wanted to make mashed potatoes and store it in a tupperware to eat throughout the week. My potatoes have to be mashed, haha. Do you think they’d last a week? Also have no clue how to make them from scratch, so I gotta look up good ways to. Any tips?

Yeah bro. Buy Yukon gold potatoes, cut them into small pieces, leave the skin on and boil them until tender. Mash those bitches up with a good chunk of butter and some whole milk.

They'll keep for a week easily. When you reheat them you can hot sauce/ butter them or whatever.

Leave the skin on or you are robbing yourself.

Oh, I love the skin in my mashed potatoes haha. Yukon, gold potatoes huh. Gotta look for those at Costco tonight. Thanks for the tip. Should I be readjusting my macros based on how much milk/butter is put in there, or is that being too nit picky?

I cut sweet potatoes into cubes, mix them around in some olive oil and cinnamon, and bake them in the oven on a cookie sheet on 400 for about 30 minutes or until as soft as I want them. Cut up 5-6, cook on 2 cookie sheets, and you’ll have 1 cup of sweet potatoes for a whole week.

I’m going to be honest here. I bought this $80 like nutri blender shit that I never got the chance to use during my bulk. This is the only reason I have incorporated a shake into my diet >_>

I like shakes myself, but my protein powder blends in shaker cup with milk. So I won't tell you not to drink shakes. But take that little nutra blender (I have one too) and start making tastey marinateds for your chicken.

Throw in a couple cloves of garlic, tablespoon of honey, some orange juice, and some chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Blend that shit up. Marinate your chicken for two days.

Or a couple cloves of garlic, Little bit of cilantro, some fresh lime juice, salt and pepper, olive oil, and some red pepper flakes. Making a little chimichurri sauce.

You're welcome. Get back to me. Let me know how tasty that shit is.

That actually sounds amazing and like a good use of my blender. Especially considering I absolutely hate eating chicken that I cook and is probably because I don’t marinate it at all. I just defrost it, season it a bit, and cook it on my stove.

I'm cutting on 2500cals right now 170g P 150g C around 65-70g F and I fast the entire day and eat in the evening I'm on day 4 alrdy down 5lbs but my previous cals and macros were 4500cal 270g P 500g C 70g F so thats a pretty big drop lol I feel way healthier and more energentic thow and faster. Basically I'm eating 1kg of extra lean turkey and 1 cup of rice (uncooked)

If you can't hit 2500 calories without shakes, just stop even trying.

Straight up.
Did you read the thread at all, my man? Hahaha. I can hit 2.5k cals in like 2 meals if I cared to, without shakes. Literally only included a shake because I bought an expensive ass blender that I've yet to use lool.

I like how you responded to me politely before then got drunk and got angry today.

Drinking is bad if you want to make gains.

You asked in all seriousness if dehydrated potatoes were as good as fresh ones... The fuck do you think?

I actually tried to be polite in that response, lmao.

Sort of related question though, now that you mention it: How detrimental is drinking whilst on a cut? I'm sure the fact that alcohol interferes with protein synthesis shouldn't matter, since you aren't making any gains on a cut. Is the only concern caloric intake?

Your body deals with alcohol first. Booze isn't treated as full-on calories, but your body gets rid of what it considers a poison before it metabolizes anything else.

Drinking will destroy your gains.
