Need some input....
Long story but a week ago at work i shoved off a side by side fridge that was falling...as i did it i heard a pop and saw in my left arm...from the inside elbow joint down 2 inches like a muscle spasm followed by make u wanna puke pain and arm weakness.
The bicep stayed in place so Im thinking not a complete tear....iced it and rested it but my job requires lifting heavy shit and twice during the week doing a pulling motion i got the pop and pain again.
Any ideas if this is the correct diagnosis....
I told them at work when it happened but didnt think it was a big deal cuz the pain subsided and its not tender.
I just cant put much ass into using the curling pulling motion without a pop and pain.
Even holding a dumbell for shrugs caused a pop today at warm up weight.
Tricep pushdowns are fine tho.
Gonna try to see a doc monday thru work.
Ideas?

Go to ortho.
Im gonna one way or another.
Got 0 health ins so im gonna talk to them at work monday cuz that is where it happened.
Edit... This bugs the fuck out of me cuz in 40yrs working i never hurt something.
The pop is what bugs me. There is no continuing pain and no visible swelling...

I'm guessing partial rupture. Was the sound almost like an elbow cracking when it happened?

I've dealt with 3 partial ruptures over the years and here's the skinny on what I went through;

First off, lay off any curling motion for at least 6-8 weeks. I would strongly suggest physical therapy and ultrasound to help it heal faster and prevent any scar tissue. One of my partial ruptures bothered me for over a year and a half. When I went to physical therapy it made a world of difference. The ultrasound and stretching of the tendon and deep tissue pressure in the area helped it heal MUCH FASTER. Faster than anything I could have done on my own for sure
