Will freezing hgh powder before reconstitution damage it?

Let's say some GH was sitting in USPS Warehouse or sorting facility, likely in temperatures well below freezing for a few days, would this damage it? Destroy it? Or no impact at all? In the research I've done, I've seen answers all over the place but nothing definitive

I keep my unopened hgh in the freezer and my reconstituted in my fridge. Have been doing that for 20 years with ZERO problems :) You will be fine bro.

Lypholization is a freeze drying process used in the manufacturing of GH. So keeping them in the freezer will essentially have no negative effect on the powder. Now if it's one of the already reconstituted brands like Omnitrope then yes freezing it could have a negative impact on quality.

Good to know.. if you google it the answers are all over the place (on forums. couldnt find anything official). This makes sense tho

Then maybe you should define a "definitive" answer bc unless its used at the manufacturing facility a certain degree of oxidation is inevitable over time and FREEZING impedes that chemical process.

Just so I'm clear "what's used at the manufacturing facility " what are you referring to?

So youre saying that freezing the hgh powder would increase its shelf life?

Freeze un-reconstituted powder if you're not going to use it within a month or so.

Do not freeze after reconstitution. Use it within a couple of weeks.

Same for peptides

Actually the reverse is probably more important and here's WHY

An exposure to redux agents is what reduces a products shelf like and the most common redux agent by far is WATER.

So a vacum sealed PEP or Poly-PEP maintains a long shelf life bc water has been removed yet once water comes into contact with a PEP oxidation/reduction reactions begin and these reaction tend to reduce "shelf life' (A good example of this involves the use of desiccants or drying agents "packets" often found in Pharma PILL containers.)

In simple terms in a redux reaction electrons/protons (usually hydrogen) are stolen from one molecule and placed elsewhere and these reactions are SLOWED when the temperature is lowered. And bc reactions of this order can alter a chemicals structure it could also impact in-vivo efficacy.

Of course it's for this reason Pharma HGH manufacturers suggest a reconstituted product is at least REFRIGERATED.

Finally bc the effects of crystallization remain largely unknown, to my knowledge, freezing has not been recommended as a reliable option to extend the "shelf life" of rHGH by US GH manufacturers, in part bc better alternatives already exist, namely a product should be used within a specified time period once reconstituted and/or refrigerated.

I suppose one could "split the difference" between the potential risks of freezing and a desire to extend shelf life by maintaing a temp just above freezing, as in 2 degrees Celsius or 34 degrees Fahrenheit :)

Once you add bac water, you refrigerate and use in a timely fashion.

I was always told to freeze powders for long term storage.

For what it's worth, I mostly just keep my peps/GH in the fridge in the same container reconstituted or not, unless I know I'm not going to be using them for several months in which case i toss them in the freezer.

I've seen reference standard samples of GH state to store them at -20 degrees celsius.

It's okay to toss your GH in the freezer before being reconstituted.

While I tend to agree IDK if freezing per se extends the “shelf life” of a lyophilized product providing it’s vacuum sealed and not exposed to water.

I regularly find the vacuum seal is no longer good on my generics. Maybe 2 out of 10. If they lost the seal then they allowed in air. That air has water and freezing it now will cause damage.

That’s how I think about it.

No it won't. But putting it in your freezer and freezing it would damage it. Its probably about the temperature of a refrigerator in the warehouse so u should be gtg

We just stated earlier it wouldn't damage it if you put it in the freezer.

Read much?
