New to Meso. Watched and learned from A lot of pros here. Can not wait to get in on some new source vetting, flaming shills, and getting to know the gang. I have laughed at all these "new guys" for months and months saying "Hi, who is g2g". Not mentioning names but the guys who vet and burn shills are great. Glad to finally nerve up and join. Now I just need a nice avatar........ with titties....

Hahaha! We are searching the same stuff on Google brother! I ride an r6 (Huge Yamaha fan). Glad to see one of the vets I have read so many posts from, taking time to say hey to the new guys around here. Makes me glad I decided to join and chime in.... stand up guys on this site! @Oregongearhead

Love the old bikes with carbs. Ton of fun! Cant beat the fuel injection. But I have pissed a little riding some old carb widow makers! Still ride?

R6 is just a perfect bike , totally balanced and small and fast . Im inbetween sportbikes just MXing it right now KX-250 Green Monster.
But Im thinking about an early R6 for around 3k I could swing...

I got an 08 r6 and 08 yz 250, old lady rides a Honda 100r. Met her on my 04 r6. Riding And working is life! And your right about the 6 I tell guys, if you want to burn people on highways and just go fast, hit the r1. I personally hit twisties, for that, r6 all day!

My neighbor in Alaska had that first R1 in 1998 , the red/white one it was wicked at the time , really small and fast compaired to the older FZR-1000"s . A great leap forward in the late 90"s (and the Hayabusa ;))

The famous ol "Busa". Nice bikes. You obviously are in like I am for bikes. If you get a chance to browse check out the Kawasaki H2. I rode one and definitely was more than thrilled. Almost (almost) too fast. Wicked machine!

Ive seen it , scary . The regular (non-race) H2 model is coming down in price , Ive seen a few way under $10K used .
I took a few virtual rides on Youtube with the supercharged H2 over 220mph !

I sold bikes for three yrs. Sold a guy one for 26k no bartering on price, Brand new, in the middle of winter, one of first 12 to leave the dealer in the state. Guy came back and let me take it for a spin in the spring. It actually ran very well on that corn fuel. He said on the forums guys said that stuff was better. I smiled for days.... but, like you I like to spend 3 to 4k on used from someone hurting for cash. Sold my 04 r6 for $3300 with 38k miles, bought it for 4k with 5200 miles. And dropped it once or twice while learning to roll stoppies and clutch wheelies.

Awesome! Definitely still a fan of cruisers. I rode a little of EVERYTHING. I do not discriminate. If it has two wheels I will hop on it!
