Definitely hits home. Man I grew up in the truck with my dad any chance I was out of school. Spent the whole Summer's with him also. These older songs is what I grew up on while trucking with him. I spent many nights trying to stay awake like him lol . I saw myself in my son doing all the exact same things I did and he spent his summers with me also my but I broke the cycle lol. Nothing wrong with trucking at all. It's a damn good honest living. It just a tough life. You rarely meet an old truck driver. There usually gone before 65-70 do to the rough life of a trucker.
Truckers are a special breed there own. I could explain it all day to you but if someone hasn't lived it they will never understand

Never enough shine lol. My dad's father was long haul for most his life after the navy. He spent a few decades driving across the US and ended up as a local school bus driver. Never heard them. I actually watched the entire thing. Really good. A little bit of country and blues. Some good guitar playing there also. Are they new or been around?
