job specific song all the way lol
Definitely hits home. Man I grew up in the truck with my dad any chance I was out of school. Spent the whole Summer's with him also. These older songs is what I grew up on while trucking with him. I spent many nights trying to stay awake like him lol . I saw myself in my son doing all the exact same things I did and he spent his summers with me also my but I broke the cycle lol. Nothing wrong with trucking at all. It's a damn good honest living. It just a tough life. You rarely meet an old truck driver. There usually gone before 65-70 do to the rough life of a trucker.

Truckers are a special breed there own. I could explain it all day to you but if someone hasn't lived it they will never understand:) There's not a better sound to me in the world than a diesel rolling through the gears and that turbo whining like a motherfucker!

Sorry just reminiscing a litte.Probably too much moonshine ;)

Never enough shine lol. My dad's father was long haul for most his life after the navy. He spent a few decades driving across the US and ended up as a local school bus driver. Ton of respect for the man.
