I been on lexapro for anxiety for 4 years. It's been a life saver. Other than not being able to bust. The wife takes it personal. I believe it's in the ssri catagory

If I know she wants me to really hit and finish we plan it on a weekend and I don't take it thurs and Friday. That way I can try to finish. It had no effect for me on performance. Just can't finish.

I'm not a fan of using strong stimulants becore weights. When my hands start shaking i feel weaker. Maybe a low dose.

Wellbutrin is the ONLY anti-depressant which causes no sexual dysfunction. It will, in most cases, increase sexual desire and nervous stimulation in general. Useful for depression, NOT for anxiety. It will generally increase anxiety.
Lexapro is an SSRI. Effexor is an SNRI. Wellbutrin is an NRI.
Generally speaking: SSRI’s decrease sexual function. NRI’s increase sexual function. If you have too much sexual dysfunctions with an SSRI, stack Wellbutrin(NRI) on top or switch to an SNRI(like Effexor).
If you know what you are talking about, you can most times just guide your GP into the meds that you want to try.
Have a Psych degree, lifetime of anxiety and tried many meds, worked in the field and live with a pharmacist :/
