Infection or absess

So after about 300 injections I have been hit with something. I injected into glute on Friday and it was a nice and smooth process. I’m doing Deca, primo, and test. Test is in mct. Deca cottonseed. Primo is EO. Well yesterday I was getting ready and noticed a big lump on muscle when I stood a flexed position. My muscle has a golf ball on it!! I use a 1.5” needle and never use my draw needle to inject. I take sterilization above and beyond every time. I am wondering if was an infection would there be any signs by now? Would it be hot or painful? Just really not feeling like an infection is something I want to mess with and not be proactive about. Thanks for your time.

Well unless the pain is getting worse everyday I'd say you have nothing to worry about. How much CC did you inject? And wouldn't infections be accompanied by fevers to. I've heard anything over 1cc and lumps can be a common thing. I'm not sure tho, I've only ever done one cycle so you have more experience on this subject then I actually do. Just giving my 2 pence.

You would know in short time if it’s an infection (red, inflamed look to it and will be hot/relatively warm to the touch). I’ve had the same issue in my glute as well from time to time I believe it was from movement of the pin while injecting or injecting to quickly. Normally a good deep massage of the area helps in my cases with reducing the lump. Def gonna be a bit sore for a couple days.

We have to be careful diagnosing what's normal and abnormal. It's normal to have some warmth tho because of body temperature. Just saying as not to make him freak out, like.

I only injected 2.25ml and I have done 4ml in my glute. Should have said about a half a baseball. When I flex it looks like someone stuck a chunk of fat on my muscle. However it’s hard. I’m not freaking out yet because it’s not even remotely painful. I’m warming up for leg day as we speak! Just never had anything this size. Just wondering if it’s going to metamorphisize into an infection.

I had “the golf ball” every time and always running UGL. I wouldn’t say it’s nothing to worry about because your body doesn’t create a reaction like that without a reason.

Go see your doctor if you wanna play it safe. If you don’t , wait it out, see if it gets worse, accompany you by fever, nausea, feeling worn down, warm to the touch.

I’d say 9/10 times it happens, it’s because of an infection that will eventually wear off and disappear.

@Bigboy727 It sounds like you have experience injecting but was anything different with your last injection? Less depth during the injection, injecting while pulling the needle out etc? When was the last time you injected into that site?

I injected the same glute Tuesday and Friday. EO seems to lump me up but never like this!

Not sure what your injection protocol is but I try to hit one site per week if possible. It can be a challenge if you’re using quite a bit oil.

A few years ago, I had a infection from ugl gear. By the 3rd day I was all kinds of fucked Up with fever and chills. Ended up being on antibiotics.

It was a decent size mass in my ass check and was red, swollen, and warm to touch. My advice is if you start to get concerned, go to the doc and get it checked out.

Was this your first injection with primo in EO @Bigboy727? Or have you been running it and this is a new reaction to the site? Sounds like inflammation. Some compounds knot me up depending on their carrier oils but I’ve never had an abcess or infection come from it. Not saying it can’t happen, I wouldn’t be freaking out just yet. If the site gets hot, the lump gets painful, or you get a temp...that’s when I’d personally start to worry.

When I’ve run things that knot me up, that’s when I need a lot of different injection sites to work with. You prob hit the exact same spot twice.

I tried going the vitamin b route back when I went to the doc down to a shoulder abscess.

He looked into my files and said “wait you don’t have a vitamin b deficiency “

Err oh well you see bollocks :-D

Small hematoma, your injecting too much too often in the same spot. Lay off that glute till it goes away. Likely you have a sterile abscess, which is a pocket of oil and blood.

I am using alpha pharma test since 3 years and have those almost every time i inject. Not golfball sized but you can feel and see depending on how much i injected that theres a hard lump. It also hurts sometimes (when more cc are injected) , and i guess its also depending how deep u inject. Ive found with deep injections it doesnt really occur, but lately ive been using slinpins for injection and sometimes I guess i just hit the fat and inject subq, which isnt a problem with test normally too. But i do realize even o small dosages (atm for example im doing 1/4 of a ml) i can feel the lump when its not injected deep into the muscle.
Never had an injection and I guess ive already done around 300-500 injections easily too already.
I mentioned the brand since its known that alpha pharma actually has quality wise good (=no dirt inside) gear so i doubt those lumps would be from dirt or dirty injections. I do believe maybe its the high amount of alc causing the swelling but i never really bothered as it always went away by itself.

Yeah seems to be this EO. I am ordering some test in grape seed and my Deca is in cottonseed which I can handle 4cc at time with those. My body isn’t loving mct or EO I believe. It feels like it burns for a few hours after injecting. I heat it with a candle warmer too. I inject after showers. I never had a problem with knots till primo 200eo. I just don’t want to inject ED again. I did my last cycl and it got old after 4 months.
