for my family
Got back to my office at 2pm on Friday. Easy day at a local high school, just getting a laser projector and video system up and running. Decided to look at some of the paperwork for the Stapleton show for Saturday night and realized that the show was in fact for Friday night, not Saturday! My work didn't put a vacation day I used on the schedule so I was booked for work and with the new home going at full speed I just had no clue. WTF!
So, the better half and I jumped in the Tahoe and raced (as fast as you can up rt93, with traffic, headed into the mountains on a late summer weekend with perfect weather) up to the winnipesaukee region. Skipped going to the hotel first, we wanted to make it in time for some backstage shit we had planned.
We made it in time for everything thankfully. Fucking Chinese fire drill for the ages.
Scene of the crime is Meadowbrook. 9000 seat venue, covered but open air. It was my 2nd Stapleton concert and certainly will not be my last. Marty Stuart opened for him. Enjoy ☺

I got into country about 2years ago, never cared for it before as I was always into metal. But it quickly grew on me and it's a decent change b/c most other music really sucks right now. Been to a few concerts since, but still not able to listen to country at the gym - just not enough to get me going lol

I like Lewis alot. Especially when he flies under the radar. His last 5 song LP was fucking awesome. His new country crap^^^? IMO is put on like a mfer. Staged, posing and otherwise not him at all. It wreaks of it. Hes soooo much better than that when hes being himself instead of some Easton Corbin wannabe

I agree. I don't mind his song country boy, and the one i just posted. He definitely isn't as bad as Florida Georgia Line or Sam Hunt. But some of his lyrics are a bit cheesy and even his voice changes a bit in his country songs to sound more southern.
