Hey everyone I was on TRT around a year ago doctor prescribed in another state but they dropped our insurance and then we moved so having to find a new doctor to get back on trt again.
Anyway I gave all my PCP my records from my last doc when I was in the other state and they wanted to do bloodwork before starting again, which I agreed with.
Now my Quest bloods came back as Total 392 and Free was 48, my Liver showed elevated enzymes which I contribute to Tylenol taken the previous day.
The elevated liver enzymes caused a red flag for the doc and she wanted to test for HIV and Hep C? Is that normal? Anyway the the tests came back negative and enzymes were normal but now she wants to do ANOTHER enzyme test in a month? Whats going on here? is she just sending me for unnecessary tests while I feel like shit? This happen to anyone?
Thanks guys. Glad to be back on here getting educated answers. The professional medical field has really gone down hill.
